UPDATED: MAY 26, 2014 [4508-20120609] Cask. Mild cigarette smoky grains and some orange hints in the aroma. Slightly hazy, amber orange body with a quick foamy white head. Bitter light orange flavour with a slightly cloying pineapple-like aftertaste. Medium body seems almost dry at times. Nice to sample, seems well put together. (6/3/7/3+/14) 3.3

Bright and light bronze. Very herbal nose, sage and rosemary. Sweetish - nice clean pale malts and some minty herbal hops overtop of that. jercraigs (10303) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 15, 2012
UPDATED: JUN 4, 2013 2013-05-26. Hazy pastel yellow body with a nice foamy white head and great lace. 3++ Aroma is quite yeasty and pithy, lemony, nice hop character. 7++ Flavour is relatively bitter up front, pithy grapefruit, lemon, yeasty undercurrents. 7++ Average plus bodied palate, nice carbonation. Quite nice, my notes are a bit brief but it was rather tasty. 7/4/8/3/16 - 3.8 On tap at Wvrst, Torontohezron (614) - Viroqua, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 14, 2012
2012-06-09. Dark orange body with a small beige head. 3+ Mild aroma, light alcohol, hints at something sort of acetone like. Lemon notes in the background. Flavour has a good amount of bitterness, modest sweet orange, light resin. Average plus palate. Decent. 7/3/7/3/14 - 3.4 #8, Tasted Blind at Benelux Cask Days Event, Montreal
Fresh keg at Bateu de nuit, tons of aroma, very citrusy and tropical. Flavor was similar, but with a bit more of pine and very dry finish. Very good. MartinT (9852) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 10, 2012
My Bottom Line :
Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 1, 2012
Delicate herbs and citrus fruit spice up a well defined base malt building a wonderful dry and hoppy quencher.
Further Personal Perceptions :
-A slice of foam floats atop the nearly clear pale straw blond.
-The dry and crisp mouthfeel makes the entire package feel like a New World Pils. Very distinctive.
-The hop bitterness is sandy and resinous, leveled with the rest of the brew’s moderate intensity.
-This cask was impeccably tendered, which is rare in these parts.
On cask at Benelux.
Draft at brewpub. Bright gold. Aroma is rich citra, deep and resinous with that lovely cat pee. Nutty pale malts add a little sweetness to what is otherwise a resiny hoppy yum.

In short: A refreshing fruity blonde IPA with a assertive bitternessrejtable (2624) - Ontario, CANADA - AUG 9, 2011
How: Draught at Mondial de la Bière 2011
The look: Cloudy blonde body topped by a small white head
In long: The hoppy nose has a tropical fruits, some grass and some cat urine (I get that from Citra hops). Taste has a very nice crisp crackers-like pale malts body with a whole lot of refreshing tropical fruity and floral hops. Rather high bitterness level but it doesn’t detracts from the drinkability of the beer with most flavors being the of refreshing type. SMaSH stands for Single Malt and Single Hop, maybe they’ll get along and go out on a date together.
Another great beer from an very exciting brewery. Loved this. Big hop start and great depth. Felt like the Flying Monkeys Smashbomb to me. Would love to get my hands on more to give it better feel. Atheist_Peace (981) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - AUG 7, 2011
On tap. Cloudy copper with a big white head that leaves a good lace. Spruce, citrus and spice on the nose. Fresh citrus fruit and a touch of spice on the palate with a good bitter finish. Fred82 (2315) - Québec City, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 26, 2011
Sample at Mondial 2011.
Appearance : Clear pale yellow with a small head.
Aroma : Sharp herbal hops with crisp bready malts. Nice floral notes.
Taste : Leafy and citrusy hops. A bit herbal too. Great malt. Finish has notes of passion fruits and crisp leafy hops. Very hoppy.
Overall : Very hoppy for such a low abv beer. Sharp bitterness but lots of malt to balance it. Quite resinous. Very well made.
