Bright and light bronze. Very herbal nose, sage and rosemary. Sweetish - nice clean pale malts and some minty herbal hops overtop of that.

Lubiere (13915) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 24, 2011
A blonde IPA with a thin white head. In aroma, a super fragrant floral hops, catnip, menthol, super american. In mouth, a super fragrant ale with biscuitty malt, very smooth, discreet catty hops, very nice. On tap at Mondial 2011, June 10, 2011.

a hero and support of the citra hop, giving it an able defence of taste and malt backbone. Yet the cat p element arrives in the room warmed finish. On tap at WVRT tap takeover (served too cold initially). Light grapefruit coloured body and lacy.

Pouring at The Festival in Portland with Kramer, Andrew, and J-Dadmond. Pours a hazed gold with a thin white head. Soft musk and citrus. Gentle musk with more citrus. Nice musk and citrus hops on the finish.

UPDATED: JUN 4, 2013 2013-05-26. Hazy pastel yellow body with a nice foamy white head and great lace. 3++ Aroma is quite yeasty and pithy, lemony, nice hop character. 7++ Flavour is relatively bitter up front, pithy grapefruit, lemon, yeasty undercurrents. 7++ Average plus bodied palate, nice carbonation. Quite nice, my notes are a bit brief but it was rather tasty. 7/4/8/3/16 - 3.8 On tap at Wvrst, Toronto

2012-06-09. Dark orange body with a small beige head. 3+ Mild aroma, light alcohol, hints at something sort of acetone like. Lemon notes in the background. Flavour has a good amount of bitterness, modest sweet orange, light resin. Average plus palate. Decent. 7/3/7/3/14 - 3.4 #8, Tasted Blind at Benelux Cask Days Event, Montreal

My Bottom Line :
Delicate herbs and citrus fruit spice up a well defined base malt building a wonderful dry and hoppy quencher.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A slice of foam floats atop the nearly clear pale straw blond.
-The dry and crisp mouthfeel makes the entire package feel like a New World Pils. Very distinctive.
-The hop bitterness is sandy and resinous, leveled with the rest of the brew’s moderate intensity.
-This cask was impeccably tendered, which is rare in these parts.

On cask at Benelux.

Tap at Wvrst. Very pale yellow-straw colour with a thick white head. Very green grassy aroma - fresh, juicy and citrusy. A sort of green/resiny aroma that I actually like. Very fresh and hoppy with a nice bright peppery character. Catty and pungent.

UPDATED: MAY 26, 2014 [4508-20120609] Cask. Mild cigarette smoky grains and some orange hints in the aroma. Slightly hazy, amber orange body with a quick foamy white head. Bitter light orange flavour with a slightly cloying pineapple-like aftertaste. Medium body seems almost dry at times. Nice to sample, seems well put together. (6/3/7/3+/14) 3.3
