Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of JanLaursen. Pours an almost clear yellow with a white head. Sharp nose, somewhat phenollic. Thin body, hardly any maltiness, very chemical and unpleasant with loads of phenols. Hardly any bitterness. I really don’t hope that this was how it’s supposed to be! 210113 imdownthepub (15519) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 17, 2014

12oz (33cl) bottle, in Barbu in Beirut. Finally, a decent Lebanese beer! Mild hops taste up front, which is something I’ve missed dearly since being overseas. It’s followed by a mild malt taste that balances it out nicely. The aroma is not too strong, and has a quick finish, which is appropriate for Beirut (although I do miss big beers). This brew has a sharp and tingly carbonation that is really pleasant and unusual, but still tastes light-bodied. Best Beirut beer I’ve had so far... Now if only I could find me some 961 (brewed by the same company as LB) vipinvelp (4580) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - DEC 11, 2014
