Clean fresh Lager with Noble hops (Saaz?). White head with dwindling lacing. I try to avoid plain lagers, but this is sooo much better than Corona or Coors or Carlsberg or ....

330 ml bottle at Lebanese restaurant. Pours clear golden with quickly desintegrating white head. Malty aroma, nothing unpleasant, but not much going on. Sweet malty taste, almost no bitterness. Aftertaste of raddler-like lime. A bit watery, not too carbonated.

Very pale colour, like champagne. Extremely light taste with sweetish malts and little bitterness. Definitely a hot climate beer.

Pale yellow, short lasting white foam head. Light barley aroma, taste of mass produced lager beer. OK as country tick, not to be repeated for drinking. (Velp 201412)

Bottled, 330ml at The Lebanese Restaurant, Leicester. Fizzed gold with white head. Sharp, dusty, malty beer, some flowery notes. Reasonable for what it is.

Generic lager. Not much more to say. Not as sweet as some, but lacking any character.

This is a middling lager that I had served at a Lebanese restaurant, which is the only reason youd want to try it, to get that local flavour. It cant be differentiated from any other lager out there, has no distinctive twist to make it want you to seek it out, and is largely forgotten afterward unless youre a beer rater. So Ive answered your question already: youll either try it at a restaurant because its the only lager on the menu,or youll try it to nab another beer rating.

Had this nice surprise at a Lebanese Restaurant called Mezze near the Moulin Rouge in Paris. For what it is, its a really crisp and refreshing lager. Very light, yet not like a "lite" beer (which is usually little more than club soda). Pale golden, minimal head. Balanced hop/malt, non-intrustive flavor, and a nice cool finish. One of the best beers to cool off a hot day.
