Bottle courtesy of bu11zeye. Clouded banana yellow color. Smells of dusty malts. Some older notes as well. Tastes of sweet grain with flavorful butter. Nice finish that ends in a solid feeling. goldtwins (4320) - Nesconset, New York, USA - MAR 1, 2010
Poured a hazy golden color with an off-white head. Lemon wheaty aroma with a yeasty nose. Mild pepper notes. The flavor had a malty start to it but it was short lived. Yeasty spicy finish. Light finish with a light taste overall. Prickly CO2 on the tongue. emacgee (4676) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - DEC 1, 2010
Thanks turdferguson for popping. Pours a cloudy peach skin amber with three fingers of creamy offwhite head. Nose is bready and malty, notes of biscuits and chamomile tea. Flavor is malt forward as well with bread and biscuity notes at the forefront with herbal and leafy hops. Full bodied and a medium crispness on the palate. alexsdad06 (10423) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 6, 2014

Bottle at RBWG, thanks! Pours a hazy earthy gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has an earthy grain/hay note with a bit of bread backing. Flavor has earthy grain and citrus with a bit of bitter citrus in the finish. Zymurgeist2 (2246) - Redwood City, California, USA - FEB 5, 2016
Bottle purchased at K&L in redwood city. Musty, farm aroma. Faint flower field. A little wet paper. Clear sherry-orange with white head that only retains a collar. Funky musk and Brett like characteristics. Oxidized finish. Moderate high bittering for style. Has the cellar characteristics, but is really lacking maltiness. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 13, 2005
(750ml bottle, best by 7/24/06) Medium off-white head atop an opaque amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, some herbal, light orange. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, nutty, pepper, some herbal, light chocolate, honey. Fairly dry herbal hoppy finish. Light-medium body, smooth with some effervescence. Pale golden cloudy pour. Thick sticky white head. The nose is malty and lightly musty. A little bit of light caramelly sweetness over an odd musty, basementy character. A fairly distinct pale malt character on the back with a light minerality on the back. It’s dry and spicy, but also oddly bland. I really want to like this, but I don’t.
