500 mL Can. Pale straw body with a rocky quickly dissipating white head. Aroma of light malt/corn, tangy grassy citrusy with a hint of floral and honey and a whisper of skunk; it reminds me very much of Presidente (Dominican Republic). Light sweet malt/corn flavor, grapefruit rind and hint of honey in the aftertaste and a grassy and very lightly skunky finish. I find this beer very closely resembles the Dominican Presidente in all of its character, although with just enough more flavor and body to not be considered watery. In this assay there is also no Caribbean sun to bring out its worst aspects. Just the same, this one struggles to beat Presidente to the wire.

Bov (12273) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAR 15, 2009
bought in Dsseldorf - pale golden colour with no head retention; aroma of wet carton, sweet and tasteless, moderate malt body; a shy and late tartness before a short aftertaste of paper - deeply weak stuff

It is warm golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel and light straw. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, caramel, light straw and citrus. It is harmonic, smooth and tasty.

a macro hoppy typical lagery smell. a very nice taste of true german style lager, inoffensive and pleasing, a little dry tasting. for the price i would get this if i want to sit down in summer and have a few cheap drinks, probably alongside a few other similarly prices european tallboys.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts very dry and hoppy, hard, metallically and unbalanced. Not very drinkable. I didnt like it.

Bottle aroma offered little hint to the taste. Yellow color had a small white head. Average polish beer that provides the necessary h2o.
