Bomber pours a copper/orange with a small white head. Aroma of caramel and toffee malts, with slight citrus and hops. Taste similar to aroma malt forward with a slight sting hops towards the finish. Not bad but forgettable. BVery (10501) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JUN 17, 2012
Sampled at St. Paul Summer Beer Fest. Hazy orange pour, white head. Grassy hops with some citrus. Pretty solid. Travlr (24705) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUN 17, 2012

Super nice citrus floral notes, has a nice bitter citrus hop taste, super smooth after taste.

On tap at JL Beers, Grand Forks. Orange colour with white head. The aroma is fruity. The flavour is perfectly balanced between fruit and malts and bitter hoppiness. This was a great beer.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with good carbonation that leaves a soapy foamy white head that dissipates to a creamy foamy film and shows signs of lacing. Aroma is stale malt and earthy hops. Taste is more stale malt with short signs of caramel, but has decent bitter earthy hops which remind me of soil and cardboard caramel. Palate is medium with decent carbonation and finishes chalky and dry. emeinz (220) - Minnesota, USA - JAN 3, 2012
UPDATED: FEB 5, 2012 Bottle to glass. Golden pour with medium white head. Aroma has lots of floral and earthy notes with fruity notes as well. A little bit of biscuit on the nose as well. Nice smooth mouthfeel with good carbonation. The finish has a bit of sweetness on the back end. I really like this beer. It’s my favorite LLB beer. Always try to have one on hand when I can get it. A nice pale ale for up north. Not something I will seek in the cities, but a decent change of pace when I head up to walker multiple times a summer drywallman (362) - Lake in the Hills, Illinois, USA - JUN 22, 2011
This was picked up at the Wine and Spirits store in Walker, Mn on Leech Lake. Coming only in the bomber. It poured a dark yellow with a minimal head. The firm caramel malt was balanced well by the grassy/citrusy hops package. This is great for a summer quencher. Of course my enjoyment may have been enhanced by being on vacation. nsquishee (641) - Richfield, Minnesota, USA - JAN 17, 2011
Bomber from Nisswa. Slightly fruity nose with some malt backing. Pours a hazy pale orange/brown color with little head. Flavors of citrus, apriocot, and malts which are backed with a a crisp hop finish. Respectable offering for a new MN brewery. I have two more bombers in my fridge, so I plan on rating a couple more offerings as well.
