500ml : In a jug . I’m on the 200 bitters countdown. 196 damn sun. Yorkshire lasses drink this by the pint after playing rugby , muff diving and dancing naked covered in gravy fat . This is my stereotypical image of Yorkshire women . Nose of yeast and malt . Dull , flat and headless . It drinks ok actually, better than my perceived guess looking at it in the glass . Kiss of rich caramel malt , bready, biscuity sweetest, and a fruity flowery hop nuance (orange peth) tangy dryness. Green apple. Some sulphur notes too . Not too bad

Bottle from Morrisons, pours amber-brown with a fluffy head and a peppery and lightly yeasty nose with a hint of sulphide. Firmly bitter and astringent with light breadiness, and a faint sweet undertone in the dry-bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale Amber colour with a fizzy white head. Aroma of toasted malts, toffee, fruit, a hint of vanilla and subtle floral hops. Taste of toasted malts, caramel, slight toffee, a little fruit and spicy, floral hops. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A dry, fruity, spicy hop bitterness in the finish. Not a bad bitter, good malty flavours and surprisingly hoppy. Would like to try this on cask.
