Cask Pint at Wibbas Down (JDW), Wimbledon, London in Nov 2009 - Pitch Black in colour. Very Malty; roast malts (not burnt), dark chocolate, espresso coffee, caramel. Fruity; berries, dark fruits; hint of sour fruitiness. Hoppy; fruity floral hops. Very full flavoured for ABV. Roast chocolate/coffee malty throughout with a slight sour hoppy edge. Dry roast malty finish. Very Nice Stout! (2009-11)

2015-09-27. Black body, with a nice creamy than head. 4+ Aroma is pleasant. Interesting blend of sweet treacle and caramel with moderate dusty cocoa and light roast. 7+ Flavour is similar, the base is lightly sweet with a kiss of the treacle and sweeter notes of the aroma, lightly dry cocoa and roast follow, lingering in the finish. Smooth average bodied palate, soft carbonation is adequate but lighter than my preference. Nice stuff. On tap at The White Swan, Leeds.

[Robin Hood Beer Festival, Nottingham Castle, 2015] - Leeds Brewery Gathering Storm, 4.4%. Dark brown, with a medium, fluffy beige head. Mildly sweetish milk chocolate, vanilla aroma. Rather thin body, watery, next to no carbonation. Dry opening of dark chocolate, coffee, even some floral hops. Middle is hoppy and coffeeish, Finish is bitter, slightly sour coffee. Very mild coffee aftertaste. A bit thin, a bit bland, but not bad light stout.

Výčap. Tmavá farba, hnedá pena. Vôňa pražených sladov a kávy. Chuť síce prázdnejšia v tele, ale neskôr pekná kakaová, kávová. Príjemné, ľahké.
