A fiery pale bitter. Choicest hops and premium malt make for a fruity and well balanced beer with a full, dry finish.

Beese (2742) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 28, 2017
500ml bottle, I think from an off licence in Twickenham. Quite a nice, pale ale, although more amber in colour. Tasty, if not overly complex.

Davros IX (359) - Hertford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 24, 2017
Matched alongside takeaway pizza and it was a good pairing. Strong bitter hops cut through the cheese and it was served chilled to help deal with the salt and the richness. Very nice.

Towey1989 (2827) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - APR 22, 2017
Bottle. Pours a clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of caramel, bready malts, some toffee, slight mineral, a hint of metal, a little orange and subtle grassy hops. Taste of caramel, toffee, some bready malts, slight mineral, a hint of metal, a little orange and subtle grassy, floral hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A lingering, dry, floral hop bitterness in the finish. On the positive side it’s well balanced with caramel and bready malts plus slightly citrusy, floral hops. However it’s quite minerally and metallic and it’s offputting.

johndoughty (5449) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - APR 18, 2017
Bottle. Bronze with a clear appearance. Small head. Dry and hoppy/ Medium body. A well above average bitter and my first from this brewery.

500ml bottle: BBE Dec 17. Poured into an Abbot Ale badged glass tankard at home on 17th Mar 17 during a ’random tasting evening’ with myself. Snow white foaming head on a clear amber body, clean and bright looking. Aroma leans towards citrusy tropical fruits, the taste follows the same lines but with a mild malty base. Taste gets more bitter and citrusy towards the end of each sip/gulp. Dry finish, too many semi-sour/bitter citrus flavours for me, but a decent enough beer: might be better in Cask form within a pub with mates.

SarkyNorthener (4620) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - JAN 21, 2017
Bottle from Morrison’s, Walsall and shared with bjammin. Golden amber beer with small head. Aroma of pale malts and light toffee. Taste is citrus, grapefruit, malts and a little spice. Decent.

RobBestwick (931) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 31, 2016
Bottle. Citrus and pine aroma. Pours golden with almost no head and minimal carbonation. Sharp lemon and grapefruit bitter flavour. Medium body. Sharp bitter and citrus finish.

Gehbe (444) - Vilnius, LITHUANIA - DEC 28, 2016
Tap. Clear straw with a nice white head. Aroma of resin, pine, light malt. Rather astringent but decent.

Rhombic (130) - SPAIN - OCT 16, 2016
Bottle. Pours slightly hazy pale golden with virtually no head. I have to agree with blackradioboy, it does leave some sort of odd metallic aftertaste that is not too agreeable, I must say. On nose, mango and citrus, general floral sweetness too. Mild to medium body, slightly oily texture, not that much else going on.
