Cask at the source. Clear dark brown color, dense tan head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of dark coffee. Taste is burnt toast, light body. Easy drinking.

Piana: Beżowa, drobnopęcherzykowa. Bardzo uboga, lecz trwała. Oblepia szkło. Kolor: Opalizujące miedziane. Zapach: Toffi z delikatną kwiatowością. Trochę żółtych owoców w typie brzoskwini czy moreli. Smak: Łagodnie kwaskowe. Biszkoptowo-karmelowe Tekstura: Dość cierpkie, lekkie. Nasycenie: Minimalne. Goryczka: Średnio-wysoka, bardzo ściągająca. Pijalność: Średnio-niska. Powiedzmy sobie wprost. To piwo robi kiepskie wrażenie. W smaku totalna nuda, a nie taka znowu wysoka goryczka jest tak łodygowa i ściągająca, że język staje kołkiem. Czyżby garbniki? Jedynie zapach jest w tym piwie przyjemny, chociaż niezbyt intensywny.

Two Cask Pints at Wibbas Down (JDW), Wimbledon, London in Apr 2013 during Spoons Festival - Dark Brown in colour. Very Malty; very roasty malts, some chocolate, caramel. Hoppy; grassy and earthy hops, good hop bitterness. Fruity; juicy citrus fruits, some dried fruits. Slightly bitter very roasty malty hoppy and citrus fruity throughout. Dry finish. Liked this. Good Hoppy Mild!

Half pint, handpulled cask, nicely served in a mug at Brewery Tap Leeds. Creamy fawn-coloured head blanketing the glass as it goes down. Deep, mahogany coloured body. Mild caramel on the nose. Taste of mid-sweet caramel malts with brittle hits. Malt-fruity ending. A tasty, easy going mild ale. 30.6.2013.

[cask, Leeds Brewery Tap, Leeds] Clear, nut-brown pour with a fairly decent finger of off-white head, that retains for quite a while. Aroma of roasted caramel, toasty nuts and chocolate’d peanut brittle. Similar flavours, aftertaste holds up for a mild (although this is 4%), and tastes more like a bitter. Good stuff, though [18052013]

Scopey (14511) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 7, 2013
Cask at The George, Croydon. It pours deep brown with a thick beige head. The nose is earth, wood, dark fruit, berry and faint farmyard. The taste is earth, cocoa, wood, faint toast, spice, dark fruit, tart berry and mild bitterness with dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. A pretty flavoursome example of style.

niquillis (2679) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 3, 2013
On cask at The Congress, Longton. It looks the part, brown with a tan head. Very thin with quite a tart acidic finish. Not great but drinkable.

downender (8584) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2013
On gravity at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol April 2013. Copper coloured with a decent, off-white head. Big roasty notes, milk chocolate, some berry sweetness and a gentle finish. Ok.
