BlackHaddock (7956) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 16, 2012
Brown 33cl bottle obtained while staying in the town where it is brewed. Best before 2nd March 2011, reviewed during a ’Lager/Pilsner reviewing evening’ 23rd Oct 2010. Poured into a ’Hoegaarden Grand Cru’ stemmed tulip. Typical Euro Pilsner look, golden, clear, bright and clean. Snowy white head on top, which produced some good lacing. Hay, straw aroma, not the best ’non-smelling’ pilsner/lager my nose has tested! Dry, almost hoppy feel to the taste, refreshing and a bit different to most of the major players in Holland (Grolsch, Heineken, Bavaria, etc). I liked it.

Golden. Smooth pale with a hint of vegetables. A touch of grass. Basic stuff. Something to drink large quantities easily.

Cuso (8950) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JUL 12, 2011
Bottle. Light golden color with medium white head. Aroma of, malt, grain, grass. Taste starts sweet malty, than continues bitter hoppy. Bitter finish. Average.

Test vom 10.8.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,5,4,2,7,3 - 4,20

On tap. By far one of my favorite pilseners. Clear golden colour, good carbonation and a nice head. Not too bitter, goes down nice.

Vaiz (4460) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - DEC 28, 2010
Bottle at home. Simple crispy pilsener with a subtle spicy touch. Slightly boring, but not that bad for a simple mass market pilsener.

2.1
Countbeer (6589) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - NOV 15, 2010
Bottle: White foamy head on top of a golden yellow beer. Smell malts, hops... Taste is a bit watery with hints of malts, hops, spices and grains. Nothing special like any other regular pilsener.

2.8
Bif (2391) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - AUG 2, 2010
Had on-tap at a local pub in Maastricht. It has a straw yellow color with a nice head & carbonation. The head did not last long as the bartender whacked most of it off before serving it. The aroma was a generic beer not quite stale. The taste was crisp with a slight bitterness. It has a fairly light body and is somewhat refreshing. This is a typical dutch brew.

JanEric (1250) - Meppel, NETHERLANDS - APR 20, 2010
Tap in Valkenburg. Good pilsner, good bitterness, not too sweet like some other ones. Hoppiness is good.

2.1
pivnizub (10906) - Bochum, GERMANY - APR 11, 2010
Can: Pale yellow, very loose white head; grains, grassy hops and vegetables in the weak nose; watery MF, light bitter flavour; short bitter-sweet-malty finish. Very thin, very boring.....
