Clear bright yellow, white lacing foam head. Fresh barley aroma and taste, a good beer for a short break during citywalk. (Maastricht 201703) DanielBrown (4563) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 4, 2003
UPDATED: DEC 5, 2003 Draught in Amsterdam. Another very nice Dutch pilsener. Slightly drier than Brand, and thus ever so slightly inferior. Nonetheless very efficient and drinkable.

Bottle at home. Simple crispy pilsener with a subtle spicy touch. Slightly boring, but not that bad for a simple mass market pilsener. Wim (4226) - Weelde, BELGIUM - MAY 3, 2008

Watery yellow golden, small soapy head.
Somewhat sweaty aroma, faint malt.
Flavour is basicly faint, with a hint of sweaty metallic.
It’s pilsener allright, a boring but drinkable pilsener. goozen (4178) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - MAY 9, 2007
Bottle 0,30ltr: After shutdown the original brewery this is not mine favorite pilsener anymore. At first its gots that taste of water thats out of marl grounds in Dutch Southern-Limburg, with gots that soft hoppy taste. Now brewed by Haacht its got to sweet not the Leeuw worthy. JefVerstraete (3747) - Oosterzele, BELGIUM - APR 16, 2014
Very pale colour, white foam. Medium carbonation. Very sweet pilsener. Almost no bitterness.
