Blond coloured beer with small white head and only few carbonation. Malty buttery aroma. Full palate. Little bitter ending.

Lichte gele kleur met een goede kraag. Ruikt zoetig, kruiden. Smaakt zoetig, citrus, mout.

Packaged simply as ’Premium Dutch Lager’. Appearance: light yellow, tiny white head. Aroma: Plastic, grassy, wet cardboard, corn, oh dear. Aroma: ugh. Made me shudder. Plastic, grain, corn, wet cardboard, fizzy, tin/metallic finish. Damn. Gonna throw a slice of lime into this to finish it.

Bart (2936) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAY 2, 2008
Clear golden blond coloured beer with some little carbonation and a small white head. Sweet hoppy aroma and a medium sweet palate. Finish is again that sweet hoppy touched. Rather medium pilsener.

3.4
blackisle (2891) - Amsterdam IJburg, NETHERLANDS - OCT 3, 2013
Nice hoppy nose, bread, grass, leaves, clear golden, frothy white head stays awhile, light sweetness, medium bitterness, light to medium body, average carbonation, smooth bitter finish. Not bad at all but it used to be better; I think I miss the special marly (mergel) quality of the water when this beer was brewed in Valkenburg, those were the days...

3.3
savnac (2656) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - JUL 3, 2013
Draft @ Cafe Frappe. Clear golden yellow with a pure white head. Aroma is very bready with some light fruitiness and grassy hops. Flavor is more bready pils, nice bitterness and light yeast taste. Light body. Great pils, very refreshing and crisp with a good malt character.

It’s hard to not like this beer, because there’s not that much flavor to it. A typical lager.

2.8
Bif (2390) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - AUG 2, 2010
Had on-tap at a local pub in Maastricht. It has a straw yellow color with a nice head & carbonation. The head did not last long as the bartender whacked most of it off before serving it. The aroma was a generic beer not quite stale. The taste was crisp with a slight bitterness. It has a fairly light body and is somewhat refreshing. This is a typical dutch brew.

2.8
jerohen (2379) - Bussum, NETHERLANDS - NOV 9, 2002
UPDATED: MAR 1, 2003 Bitterness is dominant in this one, and it takes a few sips to get used to it. Decent pilsener.

2.2
ration (2281) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 7, 2011
Golden. Smooth pale with a hint of vegetables. A touch of grass. Basic stuff. Something to drink large quantities easily.
