Birra di colore rosso rubino.Schiuma quasi assente e di color bianco sporco. All’olfatto amarena e ciliegia. Al palato senza corpo con un sapore predominante di sidro di ciliegia. Lambic ma senza acidità. Più che una birra é una bevanda con luppolo e ciliegia.

Bottle. Hazy pale red body, medium tall unsteady head. Quite fruity cherry aroma. Sweet cherry taste with some balancing sourness (but not enough) and wheat lightness. I guess there’s at least some part of real cherry juice in it (checks back label - yep, 15%). Too sweet for my preferences but still goes down without a fight. The label is too similar to St. Louis Kriek, which is why I almost passed on this in the store. Only the bottle size and shape made me consider the fact that it might be a different beer from a different brewery.

Kauge (1958) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 10, 2016
Bottle from local supermarket. BB 18.01.2018. Pours pinkish-purple red with pinkish white head. Aroma of oversugared cherry yoghurt, flavour’s the same. Damn sweet, and thin too. Carbonation strong. I guess it’s fairly alright with hangover.

VamboladeTolly (1975) - Tartu, ESTONIA - DEC 1, 2016
Bottle. Pours dark hazy pink with pink head. Aroma:sweet, cherry- chemical, candy, freshly washed ashtray, soap. Taste: medium sweet, sugar, cherry marmalade with porridge. Thin pluu body. Hurt mine teeths. Bad.

Hazy pink, some pink-ish head. Hard to rate this, pretty mush straightforward cherries, really hard to pick anything else in it. It says Blanche is a base for this beer but I wouldn’t know. Not really my stuff.

Bierdimpfe (640) - Quebec, CANADA - OCT 11, 2016
Hazy ruby red color with dense activity. Foamy pinkish 3 finger head, lasting around 10 minutes, with moderate lacing. Flavors of cherries, candy, medicinal, cranberries, and roasted grains. Tons of sugars, but quite pleasant, with low sharpness. Slick and smooth almost full body with prickly carbonation. Light finish, lingering sweet fruits with very faint roasted malts. Feels more like a cooler than a beer. For what it is supposed to be, the quality is decent. Good for sessions and very accessible for those who doesn’t like beer. Better than the Newton, but very similar. Very tasty, with decent freshness. Overall average quality.

Bottle 0.33. Colore rosso rubino. Al naso il sapore dell’amarena, della cigliegia candita. Al gusto il dolce amaro della cigliegia matura. Retrogusto aspro molto beverina e dissetante.

suurjuust (3540) - ESTONIA - OCT 1, 2016
Bottle shared by Marduk, thanks! Hazy pink brew, white head. Nose is bubblegum fruitiness, sweet cherries. Flavor is sweet, cherry bubblegum. Fizzy mouthfeel. Eurgh.

Marduk (7694) - Reval, ESTONIA - OCT 1, 2016
330ml bottle. Hazy pink color. Small size, bubbly pink head, stays. Sweet, cherries, white candy, caramel in aroma. Sweet, leather, perfume, cherries and jammy in taste. Leather and cherry jam in aftertaste. Way too sweet for me.
