Ingredients: Malted barley; wheat (40%); coriander; bitter orange peel; sugar; hops; yeast.
Blanche de Bruxelles owes its natural cloudiness to the large percentage (40 %) of wheat that goes into its composition. The natural spice aromas of coriander and bitter orange peels are added during the brewing process. The brewing method, which includes infusion, is very slow. The beer, which is not filtered, is bottled and refermented with yeast and brewing sugar. You need only take a sip of this delicious drink to appreciate the fresh and mellow flavour with its hint of orange. It is really not like any other beer. Always served chiled, between 3°C and 6°C.

33 cL bottle, thanks to MiP. Pours slight hazy yellow with a dense white head. Citrus fruity and coriander spiced aroma. Flavour is light wheaty, citrus/lemon fruity and coriander spiced, simple and straight forward. Ends with a lingering citrus note. A bit thin bodied.

The aroma is very fresh with strong notes of lemon and corriander and fainter notes of yeast. The color is an unclear pale orange - it has a big bubbly but extremely fast disappearing head. Enjoy the head and the aroma as long as it lasts. The flavor is sweet and dominated by wheat with notes of lemon, corriander, and earth. It ends on a dry wheaty notes. A really good Witbier - one of the best I've had.

Slightly cloudy yellow with a fluffy head and decent lacing. Bananas and bubblegum aroma. Flavor starts slightly sweet, the progresses to citrus, then a slight bitter and sour finish. Decent body for what it is. Refreshing.

Bottled. Hazy yellow colour with white creamy head. Sweet toffeeish aroma. Flavour is bananaish citrus with some yeasty, soapish notes. Aftertaste and palate is dry. Flavour is cut pretty bad in this one, it lacks both a proper finish and aftertaste.

omhper (26338) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JAN 31, 2002
Very pale and hazy. Dry and refreshing with seville orange flavours. ......

Papsoe (25055) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 29, 2005
(Bottle 25 cl) Pale yellow, bordering grey due to the loads of unclean impurities. Nice fluffy head. Some citrusy freshness with a dash of coriander I reckon, although it’s not overly spiced. Fresh alright but far from the most distinctive witbier. 020498

Bottle in Paris. Cloudy, very pale yellow pour with a weak head. Orange citrus nose, coriander, light yeast. Pretty sweet, lots of zesty citrus, white bread, crisp malts. Light in body with average to lively carbonation. Clean, faintly sugary finish, refreshingly zesty and citrusy. Very solid beer.
