COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle conditioned.
Also sold as Blanche de Quenast in Dia/Ed supermarkets, as Floreffe Wit for Floreffe Abbey, as Mediterranea for the Italian market, as Blanche de Francorchamps, as t Geheim van de Smit, as Manneken Pis, and as L’Alsacienne Blanche de l’Eté.
Ingredients: Malted barley; wheat (40%); coriander; bitter orange peel; sugar; hops; yeast.
Blanche de Bruxelles owes its natural cloudiness to the large percentage (40 %) of wheat that goes into its composition. The natural spice aromas of coriander and bitter orange peels are added during the brewing process. The brewing method, which includes infusion, is very slow. The beer, which is not filtered, is bottled and refermented with yeast and brewing sugar. You need only take a sip of this delicious drink to appreciate the fresh and mellow flavour with its hint of orange. It is really not like any other beer. Always served chiled, between 3°C and 6°C.

Nice wheat beer. Light and balanced in flavor. Starts with tart like malts and fruity bread, followed by a subtle herbal citrus flavor. Slightly spicy with a tart like light finish. Nice white beer.

Aroma - had a slight citrus zest, some wheaty malt, and some bubblegum like yeast. Appearance - hazy lemon yellow body and abundant white head. Taste - wheat and yeast principal players. There is a little lemon as well. Palate - medium body, soft texture, average carbonation, and a mellow finish.

0.5l can from Belga Sörmester. Big white head, pale yellow body, hazy. Citrus aroma, bit of orange, bit of lemon, some spices also present. Taste is well balanced, sweet, yeasty, and a bit sour. Some complexity and spices also detectable. Moderate-strong carbonation, yet nice soft palate. Yeasty, sweetish aftertaste. Refreshing summer beer.

330ml bottle part of a tasting pack. Pours a hazy deep straw colour with one finger of white head. Aromas of yeast, coriander, and some oranges. Taste matches the aroma. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Textura acuosa y ligeramente chispeante. Cilantro y grano en nariz. Mucho limón y lima. No me tira tanto a peladura de naranja. Sabor a limón, lima, naranja, cilantro y grano. Final de ligero amargor. Suave, simple y fresca.

Cloudy off yellow appearance. Nice citrus yeasty aroma. Clean taste - nice and refreshing with a good balance (bordering more on the sweet side). Soft medium bodied - nice on the tongue. A pleasant beer but not got a huge wow.

330ml bottle @ Merckx, Bridgnorth. Pours misty yellow, small white head. Aroma is floral, some lemon citrus. Taste presents a clean, smooth, floral with with some noticeable tangerine and lemon notes. Light bodied and a little easy-going. Not the most flavoursome wit, but it's refreshing enough.

Piwo koloru słomkowego, z białą pianą. Aromat i smak owocowy lekkokwaskowaty. Niezły typowy witbier
