COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle conditioned.
Also sold as Blanche de Quenast in Dia/Ed supermarkets, as Floreffe Wit for Floreffe Abbey, as Mediterranea for the Italian market, as Blanche de Francorchamps, as t Geheim van de Smit, as Manneken Pis, and as L’Alsacienne Blanche de l’Eté.
Ingredients: Malted barley; wheat (40%); coriander; bitter orange peel; sugar; hops; yeast.
Blanche de Bruxelles owes its natural cloudiness to the large percentage (40 %) of wheat that goes into its composition. The natural spice aromas of coriander and bitter orange peels are added during the brewing process. The brewing method, which includes infusion, is very slow. The beer, which is not filtered, is bottled and refermented with yeast and brewing sugar. You need only take a sip of this delicious drink to appreciate the fresh and mellow flavour with its hint of orange. It is really not like any other beer. Always served chiled, between 3°C and 6°C.

Nice clear/tan appearance. Got a buttery, watery taste from this one. A bit too mellow for my liking.

yeasty and somewhat wheaty and doughy aroma with notes of green bananas and hints of citrus and coriander. Moderate sweet with some acidity and rather mild fruity and yeasty flavours. Drinkable and somewhat refreshing.

Cristobal37 (1127) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 17, 2017
Aroma is blank. Super pale slight haze, head dissipates. Sweet bread, tangy pineapple. Tame wit beer low on flavor. Lacks the spicy fruity aroma, but still satisfies your thirst. Disappointing in the end.

brnandersen (3871) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 14, 2017
50 cl can. Hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Sweet aroma with wheat malts, citrus fruits, spices and yeasts. Taste is light sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes slightly dry with sweet fruits, banana, citrus and an earthy touch. Okay, refreshing drink.
