Also sold as Blanche de Quenast in Dia/Ed supermarkets, as Floreffe Wit for Floreffe Abbey, as Mediterranea for the Italian market, as Blanche de Francorchamps, as t Geheim van de Smit, as Manneken Pis, and as L’Alsacienne Blanche de l’Eté.
Ingredients: Malted barley; wheat (40%); coriander; bitter orange peel; sugar; hops; yeast.
Blanche de Bruxelles owes its natural cloudiness to the large percentage (40 %) of wheat that goes into its composition. The natural spice aromas of coriander and bitter orange peels are added during the brewing process. The brewing method, which includes infusion, is very slow. The beer, which is not filtered, is bottled and refermented with yeast and brewing sugar. You need only take a sip of this delicious drink to appreciate the fresh and mellow flavour with its hint of orange. It is really not like any other beer. Always served chiled, between 3°C and 6°C.

This was a nice little wit. Looks like the prototypical witbier; hazy pale yellow color with a small white head. Decent aromas and flavors of tart citrus and fruit and balanced with the sweet malt. Good mouthfeel, not too light or heavy and finishes smooth. I like this beer.

On tap at Strawberry Thief, Bristol. Hazy pale yellow in color with a lasting white head, small lacing. Aroma of nutmeg, coriander and banana. Taste is zesty, citrus and coriander. High carbonation, lasting taste, medium body, refreshing. Good witbier.

Mild, refreshing Belgian White witbier. Had it at Et Voila with the Flemish Stew. Yum! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2017 Одно из знаменитейших бланшев в мире. На вкус очень чувствуются цитрусы . Пиво легко, очень питкое. Одно из самых красивых по цвету пиво. Пить лучше всего в разливе.

The guy who sold us this beer explained that this was the first beer to use orange peels and compared it to blue moon, which is why Ibought it. The aroma was good but the taste was kind of bland. I was expecting a bit darker taste because of the oranges and the comparison to blue moon but after a couple gulps the beer became even clearer. Overall, the beer was good to taste, I wouldn't recommend it though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from a Carrefour in Bruges. Pours hazy pale yellow with a lasting, foamy, white head. The aroma contains wheat (especially in the smell), malt, citrus, coriander and some banana. It tastes medium sweet, light sour and light to medium bitter (with spice and wheat in the finish). Medium/light body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation - the texture borders on soapy.

Restrained floral aroma in a straw gold pour. Complex mix of spice, fruit, bread, and more done with the subtlety only the Belgian masters can achieve.

Very refreshing and light beer. As for specifics, nice golden color, but couldn’t see through it. Small head, fruity aroma. As noted before, very light, moderately carbonated actually on the lower side. Great.
