UPDATED: FEB 7, 2009 Had this one on tab in a restaurant with lunch. Its color is of slightly cloudy yellow with a thick white head. Its aroma is fruity and slightly malty. Low on carbonation, and it taste of malty banana and just lightly sweet. Quite pleasant

330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.3%. The label describes this beer as a "strong ale" and an "abbey beer". Ingredients include candi sugar. Clear golden colour, big white head. Nice fruity aroma, notes of cider apples, spices, farmhouse kitchen and Belgian ale yeast. Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour is fairly sweet (the kandi sugar is evident), notes of apples and mild spices. Not too bad.

Fairly clear, yellowy golden body with a mostly lasting head. Sweet malt with a little citrus in the taste. Simple but refreshing and drinkable.
