Bierdimpfe (640) - Quebec, CANADA - OCT 15, 2016
Deep veiled golden color with storming activity. Frothy beige 3 finger island head, lasting around 10-15 minutes, with generous legs. Flavors of apples, caramel, sweet grains, pears, clove, floral yeast, lemon, honey, herbal spices. Thick sweet malty feel with a dash of bitter spicy yeast and hops. Smooth medium body with almost champagne like carbonation. Medium strength finish that last a while, with lingering ester fruits with some honey dryness, a dash of citrus, and a cheese like barrel aged feel. Superb balance and intensity. Very tasty and a pleasure to drink. Overall excellent quality craft.

Bottle, 33 cl. Golden color with bubly head. Aroma was spicy and yeasty. The flavor was sour citrus bitter. This is a very drinkable beer.

Sweetness can be overbearing towards the end of the glass.

a nice blonde. A earthy hoppy aroma, the taste was nice, a little bitter and spicey, it was more bitter then Malmedy Blonde which I tasted along side this, but by somereason people think its the same beer despite the 0.7 ABV difference. This one didnt have as large head as the Malmedy one, and the little head I saw on this dissapeared quickly.. nice blonde none of the less

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2004 Clear golden coloured, fantastic big white lasting rocky head. Hoppy and yeasty aroma, not very strong but nice. Pleasant soft hoppy flavour, balanced, not too complex though. Very nice finish, makes you want to drink more and more. One of the few relatively low alcohol blonde beers i really like.

This beer is slighty underrated on this website if you ask me. Again: Not an extreme beer, but very balanced, fresh, great mouthfeel, great taste.

Ottima miscela. Ben equilibrata dal gusto intenso e amaro. Retrogusto ben presente e duraturo.

Aroma: Medium grainy. Medium-light fruity sweetness, pears. Light jalapeno, Appearance: Brilliant, amber body. Large, rocky head. Good retention. Flavour: Medium-light fruity, pear, grainy. Light bitterness. Light malty sweetness, honey. Light floral. Dry finish. Mouthfeel: Medium body. Medium carbonation. Light warming. Overall: Complex, good yeast and malt representation (although light), but I am struggling to get any hops. 330 ml bottle, poured. Thanks Andre! 25A. Belgian Blond Ale
