Bottle from Tesco. Is this really coming from Belgium? I drank at least 50 different Belgian beers and nothing from Belgium is here. Even Jupiler tastes like from Belgium! Yes, Ive checked bb date

Not really a typical blonde taste, bittery taste, low carbonation, bit of a champagne aftertaste.

Deep veiled golden color with storming activity. Frothy beige 3 finger island head, lasting around 10-15 minutes, with generous legs. Flavors of apples, caramel, sweet grains, pears, clove, floral yeast, lemon, honey, herbal spices. Thick sweet malty feel with a dash of bitter spicy yeast and hops. Smooth medium body with almost champagne like carbonation. Medium strength finish that last a while, with lingering ester fruits with some honey dryness, a dash of citrus, and a cheese like barrel aged feel. Superb balance and intensity. Very tasty and a pleasure to drink. Overall excellent quality craft.

33cl draft from tap at Biermuseum Ertvelde, in Ertvelde-Evergem (18 IX 2016, and a first time at the same place on 13 VIII 2016) - the only place where to get this beer. Drank in the companionship of my girlfriend and Alengrin. Beremietje is the blonde, first edition of the house ale of the beer museum, named after the museum owners Remi(etje) and Brnice; It only comes in brewery kegs, from Brasserie Lefebvre in Rebecq-Quenast. Fresh from tap, the glass colours clear amber with a minimal, light fluffy white collar. The nose contains lots of wheats, adding to a large grains character, almost hinting at straw. There is some fruityness in there as well, yet it does not make the aroma appealing, alas. The taste is very minth at the start. The grains are omnipresent, no surprises there, yet it also comes with an unpleasant earthy feature. The body is faint with keen water and malt notes. It only hints at cheap, artificial honey, and pale uninteresting malts. Mh. The carbonation is medium, as well as the steady bitterness - even coming with an unbalanced sour dash. This blonde ale not even is a mediocre brew, Im afraid: It is so dull, plain, watery and I would suggest rather picking up - if and when available - the younger, black Beremietje from the neighbouring Huisbrouwerij Den Tseut from Oosteeklo.
