UPDATED: JAN 18, 2008 Bottle 33 cl. Small frothy white head that’s mostly diminishing. Nice lacing. Average malty aroma of chocolate, coffee, plums and raisins, and light perfumed hoppy aroma. Medium oliy body with a average carbonation. The flavor is moderate sweet and light hoppy.

A sound, tasty dubbel, sampled as Durboyse Brune. Pours dark brown with a big, frothy-looking beige head that lasts. So it’s pretty. Sweet, dark fruits in the nose, touch of licorice. Mild, fruity sweetness with a fair layer of bitterness to bring the balance. Average carbonation. Maybe a little clean on the finish. Wouldn’t kick her out of bed.

Dark brown with creamy off white head. Yeasty aroma with roasted malt and fruits. Sweet flavor with fruits, yeast and anis. Not bad.

Bottle(Durboyse Brune): Dark brown colored pour with medium sized head. Fruity, spicy malty aroma. Sweet, fruity with hint of licorice. This was pretty damn good. Got better as it warmed.

Flaske. Mørkebrun meget svagt rødligt skær. Tydelig duft af rørsukker som også går igen i smagen. Meget fyldig i forhold til alkoholprocenten.

Almost no foam on her dark brown body with red hints. Complexe aroma of roast, liquorice, brown sugar, malt and chocolate. Not too sweet flavor and full bodied, this beer is very easy to drink. A steady carbonation hold eveything together. delicieux!!!

Dark red brown beer with a nice beige head. Sweetish aroma. A bit of ripe banana. Taste: coffee, banana and pear. Notes of roasted malts in the end.

PintPilgrim (16) - Ontario, CANADA - OCT 12, 2007
pours a nice caramel head that holds for a decent amount of time before disappearing. Belgium lacing is good. floral aroma but not very noticable. malty taste and a hint of bitterness that goes quickly. nothing offensive - easy to drink.

Dedollewaitor (16439) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 11, 2007
Brown with a creamy lasting white head that drags some handsome lacings. Smooth & soft palate with a medium carbonation. Yeast, nuts, caramel & hints of dried dark fruits. Long end.... Great!
