Dark chocolate brown color. Huge rocky head. Sweet malty aroma. Flavor is sharply sweet, with lots of malt, but with a slight, pleasant acidity. Very nice. A friend brought me this bottle straight from Brussels.

330ml bottle from SAQ, Gatineau, Quebec. Pours an opaque deep brown colour with one finger of lasting head. Aromas of liquorice and some dark fruits. Taste matches the aroma with some plum notes. Better than the rest of their beers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33cl bottle from Rimi, Tallinn. Pours clear chesnut coloured with a off-white to beige head. Aroma of dried fruits, spices and Belgian yeast with hints of anise and licorice. Sweet and spicy with medium flavour intensity. Quite okay.

Aukedebier (41) - KAUTTUA, FINLAND - OCT 21, 2017
Bought at drankdozijn.nl in a 750ml bottle with cork. Appearance; dark brown ale with beige head, which lasts pretty long. Nose; dry white wine, with some brown sugar. Taste; a bit metallic, dark chocolate, esters and sweet malt. Also some of the white wine simmers trough. Even a bit of licorice. Not so much hops, but the sourness of the esters take away the sweetness of the malts. A beer which differences the aroma from the taste quite a bit. That is why it is interesting. Quite well balanced, with carbonation and all. Like it, but I am not a fan. Nice to try.

Aroma: fruits, malt, notes of caramel Taste: grape, fruits, notes of malt and caramel. Low carbonation. Intensively fruity. From the start this beer tastes like wine, with caramel and malt addition in the end.
