Cheers!

Big, lasting head. Dark, black, unclear. Something odd in the aroma, esters?. Flavor: Lots of laqurice and some bread too. Real good.

Lovely. Pours a brownish amber, maybe better called an amberish brown? Aroma of anise... taste of anise too... labeled to advertise such, which is why I selected it. Caramel and roasty malt character. Slight alcohol, very slight ginger-like notes. Some soy sauce. Will buy again. I love anise, and this has the strongest anise character of any beer I know of. (I’ll withdraw this statement once proven wrong.)

0.75l bottle. Very dark ruby color, marvelous light beige head. Aroma of cherries, honey, spices, wood and alcohol. Complex dry flavor, sour yeastlike notes, dried fruits, caramel, some burnt and sweet malty notes. Really dry and sour finish partly due to high carbonation. Magnificent!

Beautiful appearance of dark brown colour with huge creamy beige head, which lasts for several minutes; aroma of dried fruits like plum and raisin, some roastedness, minimal ash, and floral notes; taste of dried fruits, candy sugar, roasted notes and some minimal alcoholic warmth; excellent Belgian Strong Ale!

From Alcampo. In Teku glass. Watching The Sopranos 1x02. Some licorice. There is something adictive in this beer that have made me enjoy it more the more I drank it in both nose and mouth
