Somewhat murky oak colored beer with a thick off white head. Strong nose of unbaked dough, mandarin orange, and musky yeast. Flavor is a nice balance of caramel malt and sourness with a good balance between the two. A slight tangy bitterness lingers into the aftertaste and cuts through the sweet and sour. Good beer.

Bofff

Flanfl (722) - Lyon, FRANCE - NOV 12, 2015
Deep golden body big white head. Aroma of bread, fruits, might caramel notes and belgian yeast. Sweet malt flavours, slightly warm, bread and dried fruits, a bit honey like. Medium-thin body, too thin for a tripel. Sweet and slightly warm medium finish. Medium carbo. Laking body for the style. Ok as a golden ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, (bar in Paris). Pours a golden orange colour with a big white head which lasted till the end. Citrus fruits on the nose, which stays with the taste, bitter and hoppy on the finish but with a big citrus hit. Does not drink like a beer this strong.

Bierdimpfe (550) - Quebec, CANADA - OCT 9, 2015
Veiled golden color with strong activity. Resistant gorgeous extra foamy white 3 finger head with some average legs. Aromas and flavors of fruits, caramel, grains, floral spices. Faint grainy and hopped flavors with a slight metallic and alcohol aftertaste. The taste is more bitter than sweet and a little too spicy. A warming beer, almost creamy, a little dry and vinous. Champagne like carbonation. The finish is quite strong and a little unbalanced, but still short. Overall a quality beer with a slightly off flavor for my taste. Still very fresh and enjoyable but a harsh tripel having a strong vinous and metallic feel.

Turtles (2288) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 2, 2015
330ml bottle from Systembolaget, Sderhallarna. Almost clear golden with a large fluffy white head, rich lacing. Sweet aroma, white bread, caramel, dried fruit, yellow dried apricot, spices. Smooth and silky mouthfeel, average carbonated. The taste is sweet, fruity and balanced without being complex. Banana, apricot, vanilla, yeast and cloves.

ChtiBreizh (456) - Rennes, FRANCE - AUG 31, 2015
Golden-brassy with a big thick head. Typical belgian yeast aromas, flowery. Medium to low sweet, with a dry and alcoholic finish. Average carbonation, quite smooth palate. Nothing wrong but there are better tripels.
