pours hazy bright golden with a very nice eggshell white head offering good retention and lacing. golden grapey maltiness, spent apricots, borderline rotten, fruity and spicy belgian yeast action, fairly bitter herbs, treacle, good slice of butter, disturbingly bitter earthy and dirty hops. bright carbonation, light to medium body, warming and almost hot spicy finish. weak high gravity blonde belgian ale with an awkward bitterness - not remotely close to a fun belgian ipa. mathieuc (4000) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 19, 2017
Gusher warning: This opened up with a rather big and completely unexpected gusher. Pour is clear golden with a high rocky white head that leaves intense lacing. Nose is of candi sugar and no hops. Some peppery alcohol and something I normally associate with oxidation. Taste is moderately sweet and again not too hoppy... Barely bitter, too. Some brown sugar, brown malt and more candi sugar. Pretty meh. Alcohol is pretty well hidden (not hot) but it still dries the mouth quite a bit. Body is light to medium, carbonation moderately high and mouthfeel is thus a bit fluffy. A little sticky on the lips. Meh... just a weak tripel and certainly not an hoppy beer... JohnRMurdoch (5053) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - MAR 9, 2017
Swing top bottle at Ron Blacks, Leuven. Golden amber, massive head. Spicy leafy aroma. Big strong sweet spicy grain flavour. Very smooth. Not my normal beer style but I quite like this one. Just bought the matching glass. tom10101 (6265) - Quebec, CANADA - MAR 2, 2017
Bottle (330 ml). Clear golden with a frothy white head, good retention, leaving good lacing. Aroma of candi sugar, wet cereals, bread and grass. Taste is semi-sweet and fruity with bread, honeyed notes and mild spiciness. Medium body. Medium-high carbonation. Fruity finish. There’s not much positive to say about this one. It’s boring, flawed (borderline rotten notes despite being rather fresh) and not very easy drinking or complex. 19Oracolo78 (225) - ITALY - FEB 27, 2017
UPDATED: FEB 27, 2017 Birra di color oro leggermente opaco. Schiuma bianca, cremosa e molto persistente. All?olfatto agrumi ed erba. Al palato corpo medio con note di frutta gialla, esotica e agrumi. Nel finale aroma e amaro del luppolo prendono il sopravvento. La birra è 8 gradi ma l?alcol è ben camuffato. Una buona birra.

Colour is gold with orange highlights, foamy head, good carbonation.
Smell is melon honey sweetness with light citric bitterness and a hint of fruity sourness. Apples, cider, quite refreshing. Elegant balance.
Taste is full fizz with lots of bitterness and malt, on a honey sweetness. The finish is pine and resin, sticky, grapefruit peels. AleWarden31 (5) - - FEB 3, 2017 does not count
cereal, citrus, very clear taste of alcohol, pale, golden, cloudy, not really sparkling, frothy, light sweetness, very bitter, soft carbonation, light body, Milter (1030) - Nyborg, DENMARK - JAN 20, 2017
UPDATED: FEB 19, 2017 God belisk ale, med fin smag. Tilpas med sødme og bitterhed. Tilpas med humle. Kedeligt udseende. tanel025 (226) - ESTONIA - JAN 17, 2017
Aroma is a bit citrus, a bit hops. Nice white and very thick foamy head. Taste is light bitter, but lacks everything. Too little taste for strong ale. Drinkable but no emotion from this beer. ALIBALI (2490) - Kiel, GERMANY - JAN 7, 2017
Vom Auftreten her, eher ein normales Belgian Ale. Give me more Hops, please. 😁. 0,33l Buddel aus Groningen.
