Flaske 0,33l p Oud Arsenaal i Antwerpen 29 Apr 11. Lys gylden. Hyt luftig skum. Fruktig humlearoma med innslag av krydder. Frisk, lett smak. St og ellers temmelig anonym. Fruktig avslutning. Litt bunnfall.

kramer (6476) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 25, 2011
Bottle, at Oud Arsenaal. Pours a clear dark gold body with a huge fizzy white head, lots of fizzy carbonation. Served with the branded shot glass of yeast filled sediment on the side. I love the presentation! The nose is quite unique to most Belgian Blondes, nice clean bready maltiness with a fresh floral hoppiness. The flavor is rather clean and crisp with a floral hop bitterness. Clearly, fresh is good with this beer, I doubt that this would taste nearly this good in the States. Mouthfeel is light and crisp with a nice fizzy spritzy carbonation enhancing the bitterness. Very nice, and a touch unique for Belgium.

Chudwick (2992) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - NOV 24, 2011
bottle in a pint glass - pours honey in color with white foam and nice lacing. Nose and aroma are yeast, caramel malts, and a certain nuttiness. Taste is sweet and finishes dry. Moderate carbonation. Well balanced overall.

Onslow (1452) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - NOV 20, 2011
Pour from 11.2 oz bottle with nice pop-off top. Purchased at Salute! on Gull Road, Kalamazoo. Medium amber brew with huge dense head. Vinous aroma - fruit, a little malt, not much in terms of hops. But very nice and engaging. Taste is some light malts at the start, tart fruit, a little cider, bitter with a rather dry finish. Vinous and cidery. Palate is rather thin but satisfying. Overall, very nice.
