Bottled. A slightly hazy golden beer with a nice white head and hops. There are hops and biscuity malts in the aroma with spices and yeast. The taste is odd with meat and vegetables. Seems heavily hopped but the yeast and the strange dinner tastes dont work. Not a pleasure.

330ml bottle. Hazy, creamy tan yellow-tan color, big foamy head. Sweet Belgian yeast, candi sugar, bubblegum aroma, not unlike a Tripel or strong Golden Ale. There is some mild bitterness, but this is hardly a Belgian IPA. Either way, the extra hops help to balance out the whole thing, creating a rather likable, complex beer. Some toasty malt shows itself as the beer breathes and mellows. A great beer.

Very, very carbonated and a huge head on the pour. Color is a light amber - almost yellow. The taste of Belgian yeast is what hits me first, followed by some hops and bitterness which you usually dont encounter with Belgian ales. Theres some pine or resin notes in the finish. Its unique, but for some reason, it just leaves me wanting more taste.

Slightly hoppy golden ale aroma. Gold with white head. Sweet ; like a tripel meets a saison.

Slayer85 (1051) - Firenze, ITALY - MAY 2, 2010
Swing top bottle (8,3% ABV). a hazy pale golden beer with a large, fizzy, mostly lasting white head. The aroma is lightly to moderately malty, lightly to modeartely hoppy with notes of cereals, flowers, herbs, cooked vegetables, alcohol and plastic/metal. The flavour is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly sour, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium to full body, lively carbonation, long finish with medium bitterness, moderately to heavily alcoholic. Not so much hop character, not so balanced, not clean and too sugary. Forgettable.

330ml bottle from Country Club Liquors. Nose of floral hops, cloves, corriander, yeast, and light sweet honey notes. Hazy yellow with a big pale yellow head. Flavor is lightly sweet, lightly bitter, with lots of yeasty breadiness and spices. Decent stuff!

Pours cloudy yellow/brown with a decent sized white head... decent amount of carbonation and nice lacing. Smells nice and fresh, with light hoppy notes and not that much of else. Taste is very hoppy with a subtle alcohol aftertaste, it doesnt lie with the name of hopus... its kind of like a mix between an IPA and a Tripel, very interesting.

CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - APR 21, 2010
Bottle sampled on 9/4/09: Pours a bright clear golden bronze with a large clingy-lacing froth of white head. Aroma of sweet pale malt with lots of floral grassy hops and some sugary light fruity esters. Starts with decent fullness and finely dissolved carbonation with a light pale malty sweetness and some grassy citrusy hop bitterness before a smooth, bittersweet finish. Well-balanced and drinkable.
