BOBANDDOUG (61) - Belleville, Illinois, USA - JAN 30, 2008
Poured from 33cl bottle, thanks to a friend at AB/Inbev ( THANKS! ). Medium copper color, with fluffy, off white head, lingering a bit, into alot of lacing. Smell of malt/caramel. Tastes of raisins, malt, and spice, maybe a mix of cloves & ginger? This beer hides the ABV pretty well, there is a warm finish of alcohol, but finishes really clean, and dry. Damn good beer, not a session beer as others have mentioned, but, how many 9% ABV are? Just the ticket on a cold winter evening in St. Louis. Inbev, how about turning this brew loose stateside?

Theydon_Bois (21503) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JAN 21, 2018
Bottle on the Eurostar, 21/01/18. Golden amber with a decent off white cap. Nose is toffee, stewed fruits, brown bread, light spice, varnish. Taste comprises dates, toffee, dried fruits, sweet sugary notes, Soreen malt loaf, booze tunes. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, drying close with a blast of sweet alcohol. Rather basic and overly sweet. Had worse in this style mind!

Gaelic (208) - Rotterdam, NETHERLANDS - JAN 19, 2018
Orange red coloured, quick disappearing head. Clear touches of fruits like bananas, oranges, citrus, lemmon, a bit of pine. Bitters match fine with the fruit. A very long aftertaste. Good beer!

yerffoeg (83) - Dinant, BELGIUM - DEC 9, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 18, 2017 Une variante de Leffe un peu plus forte, un peu différente. Ma foi elle n'est pas mauvaise mais elle ne le manquerait pas si elle venait à disparaître.

Bottle from Belgium. Not a huge amuont of smell or flavour. Bit rough around the edges, definitel gets worse the more you think about it Some sweet hops in there.

Strong, brown and aromatic beer, expansive and definitely not worth the price.
