With its amber color, fruity and spicy bouquet, and its creamy foam, Leffe Biere de Noel is a beer full of character. Very expected during the holiday season, it continues the tradition of master brewers who kept their best barley and hops to brew once a year. Leffe Biere de Noel makes your aperitif a moment of intense flavor.

Dark amber, big soapy head that quickly dissipates. Nose is black pudding and malt. Taste is sweet malt, caramel, some weak fruit and spice. Some warm alcohol and more sweetness in the finish. Thin to medium body, prickly carbonation. Decent.

Defreni (3153) - Husum, DENMARK - FEB 12, 2012

From a 33 cl bottle at home in Skövde. Beautiful amber color. clear with a big offwhite head. Malty, caramell and dried fruits aroma. Spicy, fruity sweet flavour. A nice beer.

Butterscotch, Werthers original in aroma and taste. Ruby red. Some spices in taste as well. You can taste that this beer is well-made, but it doesn’t excite me that much honestly. On tap at Belgian Beer Cafe Belvedere in Delft.

Borresteijn (6965) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - JAN 19, 2012
33cl Bottle from AH. Clear brown colour, off white head. Aroma of dark fruits, amber malts, plums, some caramel. Flavour is medium sweet, fruity, dark fruits, light malty, toasted malts, caramel, bittersweet malty finish, slightly dry. Light to medium bodied. Not half bad.
