With its amber color, fruity and spicy bouquet, and its creamy foam, Leffe Biere de Noel is a beer full of character. Very expected during the holiday season, it continues the tradition of master brewers who kept their best barley and hops to brew once a year. Leffe Biere de Noel makes your aperitif a moment of intense flavor.

(bottle) Pours dark amber to brown with a small head. The aroma holds burned plastic, phenols, brown sugar, a wisper of roast, light dark fruits and earth. The flavour is light to medium sweet, light bitter and tiny acidic. Sugar, fruits and light caramel. The mouthfeel is clean and light watery with light to medium carbonation. Light to medi bodied.

holdan (260) - USA - NOV 29, 2011
Ruby with nice foamy head. Aroma weak on the nose, but can trace some sweet fruit, malt. Taste sweet fruit, candymalt, some bitter hops, and yet quit neutral, almost watery. Medium body, smooth. Easy and drinkable but could use some more character/alcohol.

Bottle 33 cl....It pours clear dark reddish brown with a medium fluffy light brown head.... the aroma is sweet malty, light belgian yeast and dark fruity... The flavor is sweet, berries... light belgian yeast...for me it is a light belgian beer... sweet, light yeast ... not a usual belgian beer... but nice... :)

3.3

Martinus (4601) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - AUG 7, 2011
Brownish red beer, cream head. Rather sweet malts aroma, caramel, slightly roasted with a light acidic tone. Flavour malty, rather sweet, some slight roasted malts bitterness. Finish short but rather sweet. OK, not brilliant.
