COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With its amber color, fruity and spicy bouquet, and its creamy foam, Leffe Biere de Noel is a beer full of character. Very expected during the holiday season, it continues the tradition of master brewers who kept their best barley and hops to brew once a year. Leffe Biere de Noel makes your aperitif a moment of intense flavor.

Draught: This one pours a ruby tinged mahogany color. There was a bit of an off white head that lingered and left some lacing. The nose was nice. Notes of cinnamon, toffee, caramel, some yeastiness and some dark fruits. The taste was also good. A bit of cinnamon and other spices, but not overly done. Nice malt body, with notes of toffee, caramel, dark fruits and some yeastiness. A decent brew!

(Leffe Bire de Nol) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a tulip, ABV 6.6% Amber colour on the body, clear, with good activity in it. Good sized tan head, with very good retention, leaving medium lacing on the glass. Aroma has some dark fruits but well hidden under lots of caramel. Hints of spices, a bit faint though. The spices are more obvious on the taste, with caramel again, some toffee, red and light dark fruits. Not bad, only there are some metallic notes on the finish, nothing offensive to be honest. Medium thin body with the carbonation being on the high side. Okay beer, not one Id choose to drink at home during the christmas holidays but I wouldnt say no to it in a bar at the same period.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A nice beer. With typical Leffe yeast taste. Very nice but not at nice as other Christmas ales.

0,3l on Tap in Brgge. Braunes Bier. Riecht nach reifen Frchten. Schmeckt malzig mit einer Note nach Gewrzen und reife Frchten, zum Schlu kommt noch eine angenehme Hopfenbitere.

Bottle from Hoogvliet in Hardinxveld. The beer has a hazy dark amber color and a large cream colored head, with a lot of CO2 in the beer. In the aroma are clear tones noticable of dark fruits, a lot of spices (like cloves) and also the sweetness of caramel. The taste is full bodied, with the tones from the aroma, with a whiff of vanilla and a nice bitterness from the spices in the end. The finish is long, a little warming and nicely bitter.

Bottle; pours clear amber with a tan head; aroma is spicy with yeast; taste is sweet yeast, dark fruit, caramel, and spice; spicy light bitter finish; this beer reminded me of their Brune but a little bit more spices but I was hoping for something a little more distinctive; still an okay beer
