COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With its amber color, fruity and spicy bouquet, and its creamy foam, Leffe Biere de Noel is a beer full of character. Very expected during the holiday season, it continues the tradition of master brewers who kept their best barley and hops to brew once a year. Leffe Biere de Noel makes your aperitif a moment of intense flavor.

From Uvinum. In La Trappe chalice. Playing Mutant Mudds. Pleasant but a bit watery and a bit more sweet than desiderable. In any case, it can be drinked without much effort

F: average but long lasting, pale brown. C: dark red to brown, clear. A: malty, spices, toffee, some dark fruit, typical Leffe, yeasty. T: malty, caramel, some spicy, brown sugar, molasses, red fruity, hint of blueberries, medium body, average carbo, a good beer, for Christmas beer I would expected more but what to expect from commercial Leffe, cheap quite tasty.

Pours a clear light brown color, dark amber, topped with a average sized tan head. Mild aroma of roasty malt, some caramel and fruitiness as well. Sweet and malty, nice caramel feel to it, medium bitterness, alcohol is well hidden. Pretty decent.

Hamirubi (586) - Waarschoot, BELGIUM - JUN 26, 2015
33cl bottle at home. Beautiful brown, red, ruby beer with firm beige collar. Besides the malt character, the taste also has clear notes of dark spices - even some black pepper - and some vanilla or cream. The earth features are typically for this brand, but this brew also has a sharp bitterness I really did not expect in a dark Leffe. Not that sweet, which is a welcome feature. Beautifully medium bodied, though I might have been a bit stronger, and therefor a good drinker. The palate however lacks a proper ending.

Pours a redish brown body with a thick head. Aroma of berries. Nice taste but a little bit off balance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
