COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With its amber color, fruity and spicy bouquet, and its creamy foam, Leffe Biere de Noel is a beer full of character. Very expected during the holiday season, it continues the tradition of master brewers who kept their best barley and hops to brew once a year. Leffe Biere de Noel makes your aperitif a moment of intense flavor.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330mL bottle from International Beer Collector. BB 08/11/17 Pours a nice looking bronze body with a dense big off-white head. Spicy aroma - sort of clove, cinnamon, nutmeg "pudding spice" blend amongst some dried fruit & toffee notes. Hoped for more body - rather medium weight, drying, lively carbonation. Sweet toffee malt upfront doesn't really hold on - paves the way for notes of dried fruits, spices & dark fruits. A reasonable Belgian ale - lacks the big warming richness you get from proper Christmas beers though.

330ml bottle pours a dark cola colour with silky off-white head. Aromas of yeast, wheat, dark fruit, liquorice and molasses. Tastes of dark cherry, brown sugar, caramel malt, wheat, and spices. Well controlled sweetness and very fine carbonation make this an enjoyable beer. 6.6% alc vol provides good body, although it is not a dynamic as some other xmas ales.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear red to opaque with a medium creamy white to beige head and an aroma of ripe fruits, tofee, banana, sweet malts, plums and spices. The taste is medium sweet with a light to medium body and a medium carbonation. The finish is short to medium long and a bit bitter and a bit sugarry. a bit bland.

330ml bottle BB 08 Nov 2017. Very clear ruby red with well formed beige head. Dark fruit aromas - raisins, cherries, plums, also spicy belgian yeast phenolics, caramel. Taste is quite sweet - plums, cherries, raisins, coriander, cloves, toffee. Medium to full bodied, acidic prickle, slight astringency. Solid if not spectacular winter seasonal.

Kita (2247) - Koper, SLOVENIA - JUL 11, 2017
Bottle, 0.25l, courtesy of CanCrusher. Clear dark amber color with thin creamy off-white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, dried fruit, spices and yeast. Taste starts moderate sweet malty, follows by toasted and fruity notes, mouthfeel is mild spicy, while finish is medium grassy bitter. Medium body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Dreamin’ of Christmas...

Clear ruby beer, a tad sweeter and not as strong as the typical Christmas beer. Hints of sweet caramel and anise.

Bottle from saveur-biere.com advent calendar. Nose is overripe banana, floral. Palate is grapes, malty, hoppy aftertaste. Decent.
