33cl bottle: poured deep ruby with a medium sized, quickly dissipating tan head. Mild caramel, mild dark fruits, a touch of spice and slight vanilla. Flavor is slightly watery with hints of cardamom and dark fruit. Light sweetness. Good. MaartenRF10 (1959) - Wageningen, NETHERLANDS - OCT 30, 2012
Clear red brown, off white head. Not much aroma. Taste had some winter spices. Not a good body, high carbo. freretoc (1935) - Besançon, FRANCE - JAN 4, 2014
[330ml bottle, The Bottle, York] Pours dark reddish brown with a thin, fast-reducing head. Slightly spicy aromas and a mildly spiced taste – but other than that it’s extremely close to Leffe Brune. Sweet malt and a large amount of yeast – not much else Japalo (1887) - DENMARK - DEC 11, 2012

Light clear brown. Small head. Spicy peppery aroma. Quite dry with medium sweetness. Fine brew. Rerated 11/12-14 with a serious cold. One finger foam. Copper. Maybe at bit onedimensional.
While the aroma’s where good, the taste was some less. Seems Leffe just really wanted to have a Christmas-beer, maybe they had better wait some more before selling it. sdmmb (1855) - BELGIUM - OCT 20, 2014
Drunk from 33cl bottle at Guido's in tervuren. Darker, sweeter, variant of Leffe beer.

Medium to dark amber with a frothy, lacy, somewhat lasting off-white head. Smells of malt, nut, soft roast, dried fruit, figs, caramel with a yeast that reminds me of Leffe Blond. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. Sweet caramel, nut, toasted malt, with a dry bitter nutty finish. Sweet and fruity with some faint spice. Nice and easy to drink. josanguapo (1801) - SPAIN - DEC 10, 2015
From Uvinum. In La Trappe chalice. Playing Mutant Mudds. Pleasant but a bit watery and a bit more sweet than desiderable. In any case, it can be drinked without much effort Dazz3 (1798) - Hallsberg, SWEDEN - DEC 3, 2011
