COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Previous sold as: "Leffe Bière de Noël / Kerstbier"

With its amber color, fruity and spicy bouquet, and its creamy foam, Leffe Biere de Noel is a beer full of character. Very expected during the holiday season, it continues the tradition of master brewers who kept their best barley and hops to brew once a year. Leffe Biere de Noel makes your aperitif a moment of intense flavor.

Gangstergafje (1358) - Capelle aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - FEB 15, 2015
UPDATED: DEC 18, 2015 The beer pours a soft almond colored foam, which collapses extremely fast. Only a little bit of foam forms, and a minimal bit of foam remains on top of the bear. The color of the beer is dark amber. The beer is nice and clear, very clear. The smell is nice, but very mild. Almost like water was aded to the beer, which is odd, because it came in the bottle (without the cap though). The smell has a little almond and some hops in it. The beer has the typical Leffe aroma, like all Leffe beers. This makes the smell somehow familiar, which is nice. The taste is better. I taste lemons, and a tiny bitter smoke flavor, together with some hops. The beer has a nice bitterness, balanced perfectly by the sweetness. There is also the typical Leffe flavor. The flavor is not strong enough though, it is not as good as aspects. It is not as fruity, sweet, spicy and warming as I aspect from a Christmas ale. A little disappointing, a pity.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear red to opaque with a medium creamy white to beige head and an aroma of ripe fruits, tofee, banana, sweet malts, plums and spices. The taste is medium sweet with a light to medium body and a medium carbonation. The finish is short to medium long and a bit bitter and a bit sugarry. a bit bland.

Redbrown to brown coloured, dense, off white head. Fruity aroma, also somewhat fruity taste Furthermore it’s a bit watery. Fizzling, with a medium finish. Not that special.

0.33l bottle. Dark brown color with lasting white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, fruity, chocolate and spicy. Taste is malty with light to medium bitterness. Medium to full body. Overall it’s good beer, but it lacks complexity of Belgian ale.

hohops (1162) - Kent, ENGLAND - DEC 23, 2014
Keg. Appearance is mahogany with hints of ruby, a dark white foamy one finger head, plenty of lacing. Aroma is sweet fruits, spicy, Leffe-y. Taste of malty sweetness, raisin, fruit cake. Nice.

17/12/2015 - free sample from perfect draft @ Wijnkelder, Berchem. Brown with nice light tanned head. Nose is dark malts, caramel, sweetness. Taste, dark matls, caramel. Way too cold to get other tastes from it but not bad at all. Even maybe the best Inbev thing I ever had

Poured dark brown/amber with an off-white head. Some roasted malts and some hoppy bitterness. Nice beer, but not enough depth.
