COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With its amber color, fruity and spicy bouquet, and its creamy foam, Leffe Biere de Noel is a beer full of character. Very expected during the holiday season, it continues the tradition of master brewers who kept their best barley and hops to brew once a year. Leffe Biere de Noel makes your aperitif a moment of intense flavor.

Served in a tulip from a 330ml bottle. Pours dark chestnut brown with a medium beige head. Aroma is bread, yeast, molasses and red fruits. Taste is molasses, bread, yeast, bitter-sweet with sweet finish. Full body with lively carbonation. Rich, smooth and warming beer, just perfect for a cold winter evening.

330ml bottle. Pours clear, deep amber brown colour with a small but persisting beige creamy foam head. Aroma: malty, dark fruits and spices, molasses. Taste: as expected from the aroma some lovely sweet malts, caramel, dark fruits, spices, low bitterness. Medium body and carbonation. Smooth and warming, just what I wanted this evening.

Spiced aroma. Brown color. Medium and sweetness, a decent christmas beer.

Bottle. Lovely clear bronze appearance which was very inviting. Small head and a pleasant smooth nutty flavour. Left lots of lacing. Didn’t expect a lot from an InBev concern so I was pleasantly shocked. A very nice seasonal beer.

Countbeer (6470) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - JAN 4, 2011
Bottle: Big frotty creamy head on top of a deep dark orange red to brown beer. Smell malts, fruit, spices, yeast, caramel and grains. Taste a sweet and spicy mix of sweet fruit and pepper turns to a very soft well balanced beer, malts, caramel, spices, light fruity and a hint of yeast and alcohol. Mid body, low carbo and soft light tingling mouthfeel.

Bottle 33 cl....It pours clear dark reddish brown with a medium fluffy light brown head.... the aroma is sweet malty, light belgian yeast and dark fruity... The flavor is sweet, berries... light belgian yeast...for me it is a light belgian beer... sweet, light yeast ... not a usual belgian beer... but nice... :)

UPDATED: DEC 18, 2015 The beer pours a soft almond colored foam, which collapses extremely fast. Only a little bit of foam forms, and a minimal bit of foam remains on top of the bear. The color of the beer is dark amber. The beer is nice and clear, very clear. The smell is nice, but very mild. Almost like water was aded to the beer, which is odd, because it came in the bottle (without the cap though). The smell has a little almond and some hops in it. The beer has the typical Leffe aroma, like all Leffe beers. This makes the smell somehow familiar, which is nice. The taste is better. I taste lemons, and a tiny bitter smoke flavor, together with some hops. The beer has a nice bitterness, balanced perfectly by the sweetness. There is also the typical Leffe flavor. The flavor is not strong enough though, it is not as good as aspects. It is not as fruity, sweet, spicy and warming as I aspect from a Christmas ale. A little disappointing, a pity.

0.33l bottle. Dark red color with nice browny head. Aroma of caramel, malt, spices, fruits and honey. Taste is bitter and sweet. It is extremely well balanced with just enough sweetness for a Christmas beer without it being too sweet.
