"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a connoisseur beer that is easy to drink."

Leffe is delicious. Its not as good as Chimay, but its got a lot of flavor and its worth savoring from an open wine glass or a Belgiam Ale glass, if you have one.

LIght golden color with exceptional clarity. Nose has that yeasty and floral smell that is indicative of a Belgian. Very smooth and creamy with a long finish. Senses are a bit dulled from the 9% Chimay Bleue I just consumed, but this is a great beer.

Beautiful golden color and creamy head. Smooth to drink with floral bouquet. Thoroughly enjoyable given its ubiquity and price.

Bottle. Pours a golden color with a nice big fluffy creamy head that laces all the way to the end of the quaff. Nose is actually a little odd. Not nearly as nice as the Saxo brew that I just enjoyed, but I hope the flavor comes close to that one.... Nope, it doesnt, but its not terrible. Sweetness and a bit of bubble gum and spice come through but the palate is a little thin and the carb a little too large... the bubbles arent champagne like,as a good Belgian always has. Interesting flavor, although I think it is rushed a bit. Still OK though, and better than a lot of beers out there.

Transparent golden with decent white head. Aroma is astringent cleaner with some yeasty bread and residuel sugars mixed in. Flavor very muddled. Residuel sugar, harsh dusty malt and alcohol for a finish. Mouthfeel rather thin. Below average overall.

Pours sparkling medium yellow with a rocky white head. Aroma is moderatly malty; cookies, Lightly yeasty; leather and soap. Flavor is moderatly sweet and lightly bitter, well balanced nice taste. medium bodied, creamy, softly carbonated, a bit metallic in finish.

Full of flavour, syrupy palate, rich amber colour, a very enjoyable beer. Money well spent!

Pale color with a thick white head, minimal lacing. Yeasty aroma of bananas. Sour palate, that is a bit tart. As it warms, has a nice grainy body. Similar to a hefeweizen in style, with more hops and diversity. I liked it.

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2007 bottle: Amazing beer which always reminds me of xmas! Great example of Belgian Ale. Also a great example of a stronger beer (6.5%) that isnt overwhelmed by alcohol taste (e.g. Sinha Stout). Pours sunny yellow with nice puffy white head. Tastes exactly like it smells: sweet yet acidic, fruity & yeasty. You can really taste fruit in here llike appricot or bananas, hard to tell. Here is a beer which has big, bold flavours but still is smooth (unlike Mill Streets Coffe Porter). I always get the sense that if this beer had 1 more bit of flavour it would all fall to pieces & go to hell, but this hangs together.

Pours a deep golden color with a half-inch fluffy white head. Aroma is yeasty, breadlike with some slightly sour malty notes. Flavor is sweet, grainy with a touch of old, dark fruitiness. Definite alcohol presence throughout ending in a warm lightly dry finish. Full, slightly syrupy mouthfeel with light carbonation and astringency. Great lacing. Overall, a great abbey ale.
