"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a connoisseur beer that is easy to drink."

Not much aroma, but tastes good. Really pretty malty throughout, but a very nice belgian blonde. Not as good as their brun, but decent.

I had this in Dieppe, France while I waited for my ferry. The premium beers seemed to be out of stock so this did. The alcohol content is approproate for this yeasty beer that has a touch of a spice. Its a starter beer for abbeys.

In a chalice, as the label suggests. Beautiful deep color that dances along the boundary of gold and amber with little to no head. Aroma of stale yeast with a sour twang. Taste begins slightly bitter, with an acohol-sour middle and finishing with a slightly bitter bite. As the beer warms, the bite is diminished by an ever dominating sweetness. Good stuff, and relatively potent, if youre a fan of Belgian ales.

UPDATED: OCT 27, 2006 This is a very tasty beer that suits my tastebuds. I like this kind of beer beacause it is sort of sweet in its taste and it is also a smooth beer

0.33l bottle at home. Nice light amber color with big lasting head. Nose is fruity and yeast. Tastes fruity as well. I tried decent number of beers, some bad ones and some very good ones but when I come home after 10-12 hours of work, I sit in my armchair and I open one Leffe Blond and I simply enjoy it - it just goes sooo well. One of my favorites.

UPDATED: JAN 28, 2007 Seems like your typical pale yellow american style beer. Attractive yeasty aroma. Has gold foil around the neck. Apparently good quality but nothing really special. Out of many ales, I find the flavor of Belgian ales to be very similar to good quality lagers that you can find around here. The biggest difference would be the personality in the finish but even that is similar such as with SA lager and Yuengling lager. Why spend the extra money?

UPDATED: OCT 27, 2006 Bottle. Very strong yeast arome leads to very fully body. In addition to yeast, fruity tastes as well. I am always happy with this beer.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2006 330 ml bottle - pours a rich gold with a decent head that fades fairly quickly. Aroma mainly of yeast. Taste much the same, yeasty and fruity, with some spices. Bubbly mouthfeel. Almost seems like a cross between a wheat beer and a strong lager. Decent.
