"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Not qute the same quality as the Brune, but still tasty. Lively carbonation. A bit light-flavoured, but that is mostly perception brought on by limited sampling of primarily extremely strong beers.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2007 Re-rate, draft again, 11/07: Pour was pilsner like in color and head, lacing only decent. The aroma had some belgian fruity ester aspects, bread, earthy, and grass. Flavor was predictable from the flavor, the finish somewhat dry from hops and carbonation, though. Fairly balanced, but not my cup of tea. Original rating: A nice Belgian, but it just seemed they cheated and put too much candy sugar in the brew. Hops were noticeable, but again, not enough balance. Some spiciness detectable. Golden yellow in color with decent carbonation.

Pale yellow color with orange tinge, with medium sized, thin, pure white head. Aroma is pretty estery, lots of bananna, faint pepper notes, touch of caramel, vanilla. Flavor is malty, reasonably sweet, fair amount of bananna, caramel, light pepper notes. FInish is pretty sweet.

11.2 oz bottle. Deep golden color with a large fluffy white head. Estery aromatics, clove and tropical fruit. Pineapple, clove ester flavors with a mildy caramel-like malt backing. Residual yeastingess in the finish with a mild lingering sweetness. Mouthfeel is light medium, somewhat smooth.

This is a stronger beer, it has a nice fruity smell and a great initial taste. The after taste is a little strong, but overall the beer is smooth. Best served real cold.

Very nice deep yellow color. Very Thick head. Aroma is of hops and grains with a hint of honey in the background, not grassy at all. Taste is very bold, but yet mellow, drinks very easy with a decent after taste. A truely great beer.
