"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Wasn’t able to pour so picked the average score for appearance. Being in Amsterdam and doing Amsterdam things might be distorting my perception of this beer, but I find it smooth with a nice complex bitter finish.

White clean head. Amber yellow, filtered. Small bubbles from the bottom. Complex grains aroma, a little bitter, sweet frutal notes. Thin texture. Pleasing taste, good end.

Bottle.
Golden color with a nice creamy head. Fruity and heavy scent of Belgian yeast and hops. Big palate and a very fruity taste. The best of the Leffe series according to me.

Tap. Golden color with a medium head. Not much of an aroma, can discern the typical Belgian yeasty and fruity notes. Flavors are fruity as well and a bit of alcohol. Probably one of the best Belgian session ales.

CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - MAR 28, 2006
Pours a clear dark golden with a thin wispy white head. Aroma of sweet Belgian pale malt and lots of fruity banana and strawberry. Body starts with a viscous malty sweetness balanced with some peppery coriander spice. A nice, smooth and enjoyable Belgian ale.

Clear yellow color with okay head. Malty flavor and a bit too much carbonation.

JohnBarleycorn (537) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 26, 2006
Eye-pleasing orange/gold liquid with a substantial head comprised of largish bubbles. Scents of lemon, nutmeg and alcohol. Rich palate and flavour, with sensations of orange peel, malt and ginger. Quite likeable.
