Bottle from the Bierschuur in Poppel. The beer has golden blonde color and a large white head. In the aroma tones of vanilla, flowers, cloves, fruits and a lot of honey. The taste is light sweet with a bitterness in the end. Further a lot of honey and the standard Leffe taste. The finish is sweet with a light bitterness. Pretty standard this beer, I prefer a Leffe blonde.

Kita (2117) - Koper, SLOVENIA - JUN 20, 2017
Bottle, 0.25l, courtesy of CanCrusher. Clear golden color with thin soapy off-white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma is grainy, grassy, honeyish and floral. Taste starts mild sour grassy and yeasty, follows by sweet honey and flowers, mouthfeel is smooth and mild spicy, while finish is mild bitter. Medium body, syrupy and sticky texture with lively carbonation in palate. Too sweet to bear...

Bottle 0,25L. Clear golden color with small, frothy, white head and a lot of visible carbonation. Aroma of honey, horse blanket, barnyard, Belgian yeasts. Taste is medium sweet with a lot of honey and some gentle bitterness in the aftertaste. Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation. Not bad for the honey beer...

The beer looks nice. It doesn’t look much different from the regular Leffe Blonde. Th ecolor is golden. It looks a beet more golden than the ledge blow. The beer is perfectly clear. It isn’t as bubbly as Leffe Blonde. It looks good. On top of the beer a nice soft layer off white foam is formed. The bulk of the foam collapses rather quickly, leaving a nice lacy drape. The smell of the beer is nice. It has that typical Leffe smell. I like that some brands have a distinctive smell which is present in all beers. Must be the yeast. It is a bit of a sweet, fruity banana yeast smell. Typical Belgian yeast. The rest of the smell is pretty much identical to Leffe Blonde, accept for some additional sweetness. I like this touch of honey. It is delicate, just a little nice sweetness. It doesn’t scream honey. There are also nice malty and slightly hoppy basic aromas. Good smell. The taste is nice as well. There is a nice maltiness, and a tiny hoppy twist. It is a variety of Leffe Blonde. Pretty much the same, but with additional sweetness of the honey. The taste is clearly that of honey. Lovely twist. The palate is normal. Medium body, medium light carbonation. The finish is nice and sweet, containing some nice sweets. All in all, a good beer.

(Leffe Nectar (Tradition des Moines)) Bottle 330ml at home, served into a Leffe tulip, ABV 5.5% Deep orange golden colour on the body, clear, lots of activity in the glass. Tall and thick white head on top, with very good retention. Aroma is heavy on malts and honey, some floral notes, perfume. Very sweet taste, again honey, sugars, malts, light flower notes, light perfume. Medium body, good carbonation.

[email protected] Beer Session (from Saveur Biere). Goldeny orange colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet nectary and honeyish stuff. Flavour is quite sugary sweet with some mild supersweet sap like notes to it as well.
