Bottle from supermarket. Clear reddish brown with an off-white head. sweet, malty, dried fruit, yeasty and spicy. Not for me

Dal colore rosso ambrato, questa birra ha un gusto agrodolce con una presenza di alcol forse troppo invadente nel gusto, non per tutti i palati.

fkoolen (1337) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - NOV 4, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 4, 2017 Bottle @ Notre Dame, Leuven. Amber, light beige creamy head. Caramel malty, coffee, toffee, slightly herbal. Good-medium body and carbonation.

UPDATED: NOV 2, 2017 Ravgylden i glasset. Speciel, krydret aroma. Stor fylde. Lidt skæv og udefinerlig.

Muy buena cerveza, combina perfectamente el sabor de la malta, alcohólico y dulce.

Dark brown color. Nice strong aroma. You can feel the coriander and something metallic. Have common with lager beers. Light and good palate but stonger than the typical belgian strong ale.

For me this is stronger than belgian strong ale. A little bit boozy. A little bit lager-like metalic taste. Colour is nothing special. Aftertaste is spicy, hay-ish, boozy. A little bit sweet taste, bitter. Should be more balanced. What I miss here is "the something special". Price is good.

Strong yeasty aroma, hint of leaves. Clear dark brown colour with frothy head. Fine carbonation, great head retention. Sweet and oakey, notes of vanilla, caramel, raisin.

Keukeman (171) - BEST, NETHERLANDS - OCT 6, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 6, 2017 .33l bottle, poured a mostly clear amber beer with thin creamy offwhite head. Persistence is great: after finishing the beer the head maintained, nice lacing aswell. Aroma is malty, hints of caramel, brown sugar, candy sugar, citrus, orangepeel. Taste is bittersweet. Strong alcohol taste and burn. Hints of brown sugar and caramel. Nice herby touch of korianderseeds which conpliments the beer really good. Body is medium to thick, with low carbonation which is not unpleasant. Overall great well balanced strong ale.

Очередной Эль от бренда Leffe. Запах на удивление сильно отдает хмелем. Пьется оно очень тяжело, даже для крепкого эля. Вкус сухофруктов, карамели и хмеля. Послевкусие более фруктовое c горчинкой.
