Dark red/brown and clear. Aroma fruity (apples, figs?).Taste fruity and some yeastiness, well balanced with the sweetness. Taste dissappears quickly, though.

At Brassarie l’Avenue in Brussels. Clear, deep orange to light brown color. Aroma is of figs and nutmeg spice. Taste is spice up front, followed by rich fig and plum notes, then finishes surprisingly dry. Glad I found this one.

0,33l bottle. Clear light brown colour with quickly shrinking but lasting small off-white head. Aroma: Candy sugar, leather, matured cheese. Taste: Sweet malty and fruity start with a pleasent bitter mouthfeel. (Nutmeg) Has a light liquorish tone and a warming alcohol feel. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Long bitter and slightly sweet, softly acidic finish.

Bottle as gift. Aromas of spicy yeast, slight lavender sherbet and red grape juice. Pours clear amber brown with a fluffy beige head. Flavours have a dry yeasty front, a sweet caramel malt middle and a gentle, fresh hop finish. It has a soft but dry palate with moderately sharp sparkle. It has plenty spicy Belgian front but smoothed and freshened with floral and fruity tones. Robust and enjoyable.
