33cl bottle, shared with Mathieu87. APPEARANCE: dark blond beer, nice stable white head. NOSE: hoppy leffe nose, some sweetness there. Lots of caramel and malts. TASTE: lots of caramel, typical Leffe taste actually, but little weaker. Technically good, not much here....

330ml bottle from the beer palais on the French / Belgian border at Watou. Pours reddish dark brown. Has a deep, rich, familiar Leffe flavour but with an acute, almost menthol like sweetness that adds a freshness to the beer. Tastes stronger than 6.6%.

Bought a bottle at Albert Heijn. Has a clean brown color, lots of bubbles and a large cream colored head. Aroma of cloves, vanilla and a little caramel. The taste is fruity and a little sweet, which changes in a medium bitter taste. Also the aftertaste has a medium bitter which stays for a well. Afterall a well balanced ale, but this has nothing to do with Spring Bock. The Leffe Blonde is a better ale.

Ambrée claire, pétillance fine. Plutôt douce et maltée, légèrement caramélisée, un rien sucrée, amère et un peu sèche sur la fin, aucune longueur. Toujours rien de spécial sous le ciel de la Leffe...

Clean brown, grey fluffy head. Simple sweet malts, brown sugar, grassy, grainy. Not very spring like really, too dark and sweet. Simple yeast, sparkling body. Taste is dusty and sweet at the same time. (33cl bottle from AH supermarket)

Bottle, 33cl, C1000. Drunk at home while having a hearty dinner. Pours amber with nice frothy head. Too bad the head doesn’t last. Nice malty and fruity aroma. The taste is not very complex: sugary sweet with malt and a bit of fruit and the metallic undertone I tasted in Leffe Blond as well. Although I drink this beer very cold, and together with a spiced meal, the taste and smell still stand out. Good session-beer. Average carbonation, which I like best. No worthy finish, though.

Aroma: Malty, honey, roast, hint of citrus Appearance: Fine big off white head, all over fine lace, light amber, filtered Taste: Nutty, bitterness, light sweet
