Bottled (from Belgian Shop). Reddish amber colour, small slightly off white fluffy head, leaves nice lace. Aroma is caramel malts, some slight vegetables and mild grass and earth. Flavour is quite much the same with also a slight hint of alcoholic sweetness.
, Turku. In addition to the above, this one has rather sweet tropical fruit juice concentrate/extreme nectary notes in the aroma. In the flavour it’s quite the same but has a bunch of spicyness to it as well.
Bottled at Man in The Moon, Stockholm. Clear amber, small head. Fruity cardboard aroma. Sweet with bold, hard body. Some butter, plenty of caramel. No depth. Stone dead. Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 26, 2011
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear amber with a creamy and lacing off-white head. Sweet caramel and fruits with quite some yeast in the nose. Solid body, caramel but dominated by an extreme yeastiness. Hardly any hops. So Belgian that it almost hurts. 260911 Leighton (22327) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 23, 2013
UPDATED: JUL 1, 2013 Tap at Dranken Geers, Gent. Lovely for a Leffe. Caramel, bread, not too swet or boozy. Decent balance. Drinkable. (3.6)Rasmus40 (21990) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUL 27, 2011
Bottle as breakfast beer at Borefts basecamp - Utrecht. Pours clear copper with a big, frothy white head. Bit of that Leffe caramel and sugary malt character in the nose, along with yeast and brown bread. Medium sweet flavor with soft berries, light bitter leaves, herbs. Medium bodied with average, creamy carbonation. Sweet finish with herbal hops, moderately dry caramel. Pretty basic overall but OK.
As Leffe Biere de Printemps. Clear dark golden with a big off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity and coriander. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 260711 Koelschtrinker (21492) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 17, 2011
Dunkelhefiger, aufgezwungen süßer Antrunk. Dann wird das Bier wässriger, die Süße bleibt dabei, die aufkommende Bananigkeit unterliegt der Süße ebenfalls. Alkoholisch angehauchter Abgang. Trinkbar, kaum mehr. 10/7/7/5/7/6
