COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Hoogwaardig belgisch blond bier, meesterwerk van de meesterbrouwers van Leffe".

"High quality belgian blond beer, masterpiece from the masterbrewers at Leffe". Refined bitterness and delicate hops aromas. Charles Nouwen, brewmaster of Leffe, traveled the world in search of the best hops. Whitbread Golding Hops is grown in the Poperinge region of Belgium. Leffe Royale Whitbread Golding is the original recipe for Leffe Royale, launched in 2012. Its delicate bitterness with citrus and resinous notes, reminiscent of that of banana or vanilla, as well as flowery aromas define this exceptional beer.

MGantzel (274) - Aalborg, DENMARK - FEB 27, 2016
Denne Leffe Royale har et klart gyldent udseende med et medium hvidt skum. Øllen har en svag sød aroma og smager af hvede og malt med en bitterhed. Medium karbonering.

Zilb (418) - Fontenay Sous Bois, FRANCE - FEB 24, 2016
UPDATED: FEB 25, 2016 Bue avec Boulinf et Milinf. Bière assez sucrée et très épicée (est-ce le clou de girofle ?) : terriblement efficace. Pointe d’amertume mais dominance sur le sucre et les épices.

2.8
Oakes (19569) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 24, 2016
Dull amber, with a thin head. The aroma is plasticy Belgian yeast. Sweet but dull malts, a lightly phenolic character. Very sweet for a beer sold on its special hop and just not that much nuance. Good thing this cost $4 for the 750.

3.3
Dervock (1551) - AUSTRALIA - FEB 19, 2016
Bottle - pours dark gold with a small white head. Aroma is bubblegum, spice and a bit of Apple. Taste is sugary sweet across the taste. Some bubblegum and spice across the Middle. Palate is creamy.

2.5
bartlebier (4243) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - FEB 15, 2016
Mini-draught from [email protected] Clerq and Geers, Feb 2016. Bref: Gentle grey tea leaf peppers manage to crawl from under a Leffe caramel Hiroshima. - Wheat syrup in mouthfeel and aroma cloy up herbal tea hop nuances: industrial apple and pear marmelade with a whiff of spice as an accident of cassonade. Goes down like it starts in the nose, saccharine and lubricated for the 90s palate, dusted with a pseudo-contemporary twist. - Masterfully engineered in its expert hiding of unnecessary 7,5% abv liver and diabetes points.
