Reddish ambet colour, huge pinkish off-white head; aroma of raspberry and strawberry; taste is sweet artificial strawberry and raspberry with some hoppy bitterness; not really convincing

Aroma is sour elderberries, raspberries and strawberries. Appearance is clear dark ruby with a white head. Taste is very sweet raspberries and unpleasant dryness of elderberries. Palate is smooth, very drying, very fine and high carbonation. Overall a typical raspberry Belgian, sweet and fruity but too drying and sour for me.

Zlotta (2928) - Hagen / Bonn, GERMANY - MAR 4, 2017
Sampled from 0.5 l can. Clear, deep red with a frothy, pinkish white head. Sweetish, artificially fruity aroma of strawberries, raspberries and a touch of cherries. Very sweet, sugary and artificially fruity taste of strawberry, raspberry, cherry and sorbet powder, followed by a short, slightly bitter, sugary finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Drinkable, not very tasty though.

Bottle from Asda. An obvious fruity and tasty beer but missing so much, especially some sour notes which would save it. It comes off far too sweet, simple and almost soft drink like.

Thanks Vincent to share this beer at Bonfol for the Happy New Year. This beer is typical from the leffe brewery. The color is red, transparent, thin and white foam. The taste is industrial but it is ok, typical yeast from leffe and Belgium. It is malty, sweet, cherry, almost no hop, not great, not bad but it is not a real kriek.

Clear, beautiful red beer with small head. Aroma has lots of strawberry and some Belgium yeast. Taste has strawberry, some red berries and caramel. Sweet, medium body, high carbonation. Cider feeling, but not in bad way.
