large frothy fizz offwhite head. good lacing. mostly diminishing. clear dark-golden body. aroma: moderate malt, flowers, citrus orange, banana, honey. initial flavor: moderate sweet. final flavor: moderate sweet light bitter; long duration. Palate: medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, chalky light alcoholic finish. Complex bouquet with moderate to significant spiciness, moderate fruity esters and low alcohol and hop aromas. Generous spicy, peppery, sometimes clove-like phenols. Backbone maltada. Dulçor frutado puxando para laranja. A low to moderate spicy hop character is usually found. Alcohols are soft, spicy, and low in intensity. Bitterness is typically medium to high (low in this case) from a combination of hop bitterness and yeast produced phenolics. Substantial carbonation and bitterness lends a dry finish with a moderately bitter aftertaste with substantial spicy-fruity yeast character. Uma das melhores leffe que ja degustei. 110 s

Decent triple. Taste of orange peel quite subtle. Taste of added coriander not apparent other than through a general spiciness that comes through. I prefer a more natural triple. It tastes a bit artificial.

Bottle. Poured slightly hazy amber colour with a good sized white head. Aroma of malt, yeast, fruit, caramel and a light herbal/spice edge. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonation.

Deep golden bordering on amber with white dense head. Some smoke in the flavour which was not expected. Maybe burnt caramel was what I tasted. Some honey and alcohol warmth come out earlier than expected and a honeycomb and honey finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Honestly, quite underwhelming. Take away the label and you have a decent, well balanced but slightly muted Belgian Blonde ale. Put the label back on, and your expectations from a tripel beer are dashed somewhat. 330ml bottle acquired somewhere in Belgium (I forget where) and drank at home.

Cerveza de abadía tripel. Espuma blanca no muy abundante. Aroma ligero a barrica. Gusto complejo dulzón pero fuerte y colposo. Malta, madera, tostado, añejo, Mucho cuerpo. se nota algo el alcohol pero sin exagerar. Retrogusto bueno. No es mi cerveza de abadía favorita pero esta buena.

I picked up this bottle at the hipercoop in Domodossola. I drank this leffe on saturday at home in Lausanne, best before 2019. In my own opinion, it is not my favourite tripel, but it is drinkable with a pleasant orange/brown and slightly troubled body. The carbonation is average, white foam. The taste is too sweet, malty, candy sugar, apricot, not well balanced and there is with touch of leffe or Belgian yeast so typical from tgis brewery, some hop, acceptable.
