UPDATED: FEB 24, 2018 Disig, gyllene. Fin arom, bra balans mellan fruktig sötma o syrlighet. Smaken har aprikos o citrus. Slutet inte så komplex, inte på aromens nivå.

Bottle 0,33L. Hazy golden color with small, frothy, white head. Aroma is spicy (coriander) and vegetable. Taste is medium sweet and it follows aroma. Medium to full body, creamy texture, lively carbonation. This one looks kinda weird to me - like drinking Belgium witt on steroids. Leffe Blond and Brune were my first Belgium beers, many years ago and these are still their best beers for me. I've tried many beers brewed under name Leffe all these years, but nothing came close to these two.

Pours clear golden with a small, off-white head. Typical 'Leffe' aroma of sugar, apple (sauce), artificial hops, white bread, (cookie) dough, something perfumed. It tastes medium sugary sweet and medium 'spicy' bitter with an immediate astringent effect from added hop aroma, leading to an alcoholic and almost wry finish. Medium body, slick/syrupy texture, soft carbonation. An Abbey Triple as it shouldn't be.

33cl bottle at home. Appearance: hazy golden with medium, white head. Aroma: clove, malts, apricot, some dust and a hint of pear. Taste: pretty high sweetness and medium bitterness. Notes of sweet malts, clove and some light fruits. Palate: medium bodied, oily texture and medium carbonation. Taste is a bit one dimensional.

Złoty opalizujący przymglony przykurzony, piana średnia pod każdym względem. W aromacie słód, pszenica, weizenowy banan, fenole przypraw, guma balonowa, na drugim planie białe owoce, nieco winogrona. W smaku słodycz jęczmienia i pszenicy, nieco brzeczkowe, lekkie owoce wygładzające słodycz i subtelna kontra goryczki chmielu. Niezbyt przekonujący tripel choc ma w sobie intrygującą gładkość.

Beamer (148) - Malden, NETHERLANDS - JAN 13, 2018

large frothy fizz offwhite head. good lacing. mostly diminishing. clear dark-golden body. aroma: moderate malt, flowers, citrus orange, banana, honey. initial flavor: moderate sweet. final flavor: moderate sweet light bitter; long duration. Palate: medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, chalky light alcoholic finish. Complex bouquet with moderate to significant spiciness, moderate fruity esters and low alcohol and hop aromas. Generous spicy, peppery, sometimes clove-like phenols. Backbone maltada. Dulçor frutado puxando para laranja. A low to moderate spicy hop character is usually found. Alcohols are soft, spicy, and low in intensity. Bitterness is typically medium to high (low in this case) from a combination of hop bitterness and yeast produced phenolics. Substantial carbonation and bitterness lends a dry finish with a moderately bitter aftertaste with substantial spicy-fruity yeast character. Uma das melhores leffe que ja degustei. 110 s

Decent triple. Taste of orange peel quite subtle. Taste of added coriander not apparent other than through a general spiciness that comes through. I prefer a more natural triple. It tastes a bit artificial.
