Skinnyviking (9137) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 6, 2007
Bottle. High off-white creamy and lasting head. Clear dark copper body. Acidic sweet berries aroma and something that reminds me of a damp cellar. Spicy and bitter sweet flavor of berries with brown sugar and a shot of bitterness at the end and in the long lasting prettey sticky sugary aftertaste. Alcohol very well hidden by the sweetnes. Low carbonated. Well done.

Flavor is even more vinous with also spices and medium alcohol, chocolate also there. Aftertaste turns to sour one with berries and warming alcohol.

I’ve rated "Leffe blonde" 3.3 because I think it’s a good megabrew beer. So-called "vieille cuvée" leaves you with plenty of alcohool and little if any flavour, complexity, balance ... and pleasure in drinking.

Brown/reddish coloration. Good cream. Well balanced bitter taste and alcohol (present, but do not attack). It is a consistent beer. Harmonious. Excellent.
